“Jessica was amazing! She walked my two dogs, a high strung chihuahua and elderly dog (14 y.o.), for 30min for 4 days. She reached out and asked if I wanted her to meet the dogs before walking them which was great. The chihuahua tends to bark his head off at strangers, and I wasn't sure how he'd react (he ended up running away from her the first day for 15min, sorry Jessica). The older dog had diarrhea throughout the house one day, and cleaning up after something like that isn't really what I consider her job. I told her she didn't need to worry about it, and I'd deal with it when I got back. However, she ended up cleaning up as much as she could anyways (that's going to be a big tip). Besides my dogs being a huge pain. She always responded quickly and sent a lot of pictures from the walks.”

I started dog walking in late grade school, but didn't build my extensive knowledge of behavior training, modification, and animal welfare until 4 years ago. I have experience with training puppies and socialization, along with deaf/blind dogs, hospice care, stranger issues, resource guarding, and reactivity. I have built many strong bonds with dogs who have been deemed difficult by being patient and respecting their boundaries. As for cats, I love a spicy cat (have one of my own). I have no issues with overstimulation, handling, re-direction, or medicating any feline friends! I have experience with small animals and reptiles as well. I am pretty flexible overall! I am lucky to have the ability to balance work, school, and life fairly easy despite still being involved in the community. I can pop in throughout the day several times if needed/wanted, and I can also dedicate time to a fun hike or park trip for a few hours for dogs needing a little more! I treat every pet like I would my own, and that doesn't mean loving on them 24/7. I believe in respecting pets boundaries and reading their body language when meeting new people, but also day to day.
