I'm a law student heading into my second year of school and I have flexibility this summer for regular visits or last-minute help. I've spent years caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and new clients and I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I pay close attention to each animal's cues, take the time to build genuine trust, and am someone you can count on — on time, every time. While I don't have pets of my own right now, I'm surrounded by them constantly and there is honestly nowhere I'd rather be. My schedule is flexible. If it works for you, it works for me. Above all else, I believe communication and timeliness are everything. You'll always hear from me promptly, whether it is confirming a booking, giving an update mid-visit, or letting you know about anything unexpected. No guessing, no chasing me down, just reliable, responsive care you can count on. When I'm in your home, your pet's comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely including feeding schedules, walking routes, any quirks or preferences because familiarity and consistency are what keep animals calm and happy in their parents absence. I treat every home with the same care and respect I'd want shown in my own, and I'm always in close communication so you're never left wondering how things are going. Further, I know that inviting someone new into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big deal, please be assured I'm direct, honest, and an open book.

About: Hello! 🐶 I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, including dogs, cats, fish, and even a pet shrimp! I’m not shy around medications, multiple animals, or high energy pets. I have extensive experience loving senior pets and those with special needs. I’m a daytime and overnight dog and cat sitter with almost 20 years experience caring for animals! 🐱 I am a graduate student, dog and cat mom, and enjoy lots of hobbies like gardening, reading, sourdough baking, and biking. I would love to spend my extra time hanging out with your pets! I treat my clients’ pets and homes as I do my own. I understand how intimidating it is to trust a stranger with their schedules, medications, anxieties, and even your own home while you’re away. I’m comfortable asking for clarification when needed and communicating to make sure your pets have what they need.

About: Hello! I am a lifelong lover of animals and currently have two dogs. I have been petsitting for a few years now and thought signing up on Rover would be a great idea! I have experience petsitting with both cats and dogs. I currently work part-time at a couple of other jobs. Therefore I am most available weekday mornings to afternoons. I could also do some weekday evenings. The only times I am unavailable are Mondays from 10 to 11am, Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm, and most weekend evenings. Although I do not offer pet care in my own home, I can guarantee that I am a responsible person who is very good with gaining the trust of animals. My family has always had a dog in the house, therefore I am able to read their body language well.

When I’m house sitting, I can provide morning and evening walks, and on Thursdays and Fridays I work from home, allowing for additional presence and a midday check-in or walk during my lunch break. On weekends, I have more flexibility and availability, which allows me to be more present and attentive to pets who benefit from extra time, companionship, or a relaxed routine. I will come to you and your furry friends. I follow routines as closely as possible and create a calm, safe, and respectful environment. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.
