“Riley took excellent care of my 3 senior dogs, all 3 on meds, including 1 that is diabetic and needed blood glucose monitoring and insulin shots. I was thrilled to find someone with experience with diabetes. Thanks Riley!”

“Sara was very responsible and loving to my great Dane and spent a lot of time with her sent me pictures and kept me posted. I would highly recommend her to sit with your animals.”

“This was our first time hiring Rebecca to petsit our dog and cat. We hired her based on her excellent reviews. She exceeded our expectations! From the beginning, she was incredibly communicative. She sent us tons of photos and videos. She seems to be a natural with animals. We came home to super happy pets! Not only did she take great care of our pets, but she took great care of our house as well. It was clean and tidy when we came home. I will definitely hire her in the future and strongly recommend her!”

“Carolyn was wonderful. She took good care of Charlie and was careful to follow instructions including administering medicine and following physical therapy instructions. She left the house very clean and orderly. We would love to use her again.”

“Mark was incredible…he did overnight stays with our 11 year old blind, deaf pup without any hesitation. He is a great communicator and left the house in perfect condition. As this was a new arrangement, he asked questions to make sure something wasn’t out of the ordinary for our extraordinary pup, which I appreciate as he has truly had only 1 sitter in nearly 11 years! I cannot recommend him enough and we are actively booking out the rest of the year with him!”

“Janei was great! She is super responsive in the app and she was so sweet when we met in person for a meet and greet with Olive. She took great care of Olive and our place while we were out of town and would definitely book with her again!”
“Emily was great - Super friendly with both dogs - Very attentive to their needs - She stringently followed our guidelines - Excellent communication - We're already using her again in Dec. '25”

About: I’ve had animals growing up ever since I was little. I’ve grown up with 4 dogs in the household and currently have my own. I absolutely adore all animals and would love to take care of your beloved animal I work and go to school daily but during the summer, I can definitely be more free. I always take breaks to walk the dogs around the neighborhood. I always be adequate to feed them and give them water throughout the day at their assigned eating times! If the dog is crate, trained to sleep in the crate at night, they’re welcome to sleep in the crate or if the owner wants, they can sleep in the bed with me. I do not mind.

“Nick took care of our pup and house over a long weekend. He was a great communicator leading up to and during the support. He kept the pup happy, well walked, medicated, and relaxed all weekend while leaving the house exactly as we left it. Highly recommend if you need a pup sitter. Thanks!”

“After meeting Helena, I was very comfortable leaving Chewbacca in her care. I didn’t worry at all while I was gone, knowing he was in good hands. While he is cute and small, he has a big personality and isn’t always the easiest dog. She was communicative and sent daily updates. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact her again for help with Chewbacca.”

“Wesley was wonderful! Super responsive, communicative, and confident with our fur crew from the start. Our dogs can be pretty high energy, but Wesley handled them with patience and clear commands. We’ll definitely be booking with Wesley again!”

About: My love for animals started early — when my family adopted our dog during my third-grade year, I took on real responsibility right away, handling his feedings and nightly walks. That hands-on care grew into a genuine passion that has only deepened over the years. Beyond dogs, I've developed experience with a range of animals, including goats, sheep, pigs, and horses, giving me a well-rounded foundation for handling pets of all personalities and needs. I'm currently studying biology and wildlife conservation at William & Mary, so animal welfare isn't just something I care about — it's what I've built my academic life around. I connect quickly with animals, take their comfort seriously, and will treat every pet in my care with the same patience and attentiveness I'd want for my own. You can feel confident leaving your furry family member in good hands! I'm home for the summer from college and have a very flexible schedule, making me available for bookings on short notice. I may be taking on part-time work as the summer progresses, but I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. Your instructions are my playbook — I follow them closely and don't cut corners, whether it's feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules for your pet. I'm naturally observant and attentive, so I stay tuned in to your pet's behavior and body language throughout every visit, picking up on cues that they might need something before it becomes an issue. Your pet's comfort and safety in their own environment is always the priority.
“Michelle did a great job with our geriatric cats. Medications were properly administered and the cats quickly warmed up to her. She also kept us informed with texts and pictures and dealt with some unscheduled package deliveries.”

“Elizabeth stayed at the house for one night and took really great care of our Yorkie, Belle. She kept me updated and sent a couple of photos. I would definitely book with Elizabeth again.😊”

“Emily was wonderful with my two large dogs, who have a lot of energy and have some dog reactivity to be managed, so they are not the easiest dogs to look after. I was very nervous about leaving them with a new person (first time using Rover!) but Emily had come recommended and I felt much more comfortable after speaking with her and doing a meet-and-greet. She kept me updated with photos and video throughout the stay and I returned to two very happy content pups. Can confidently recommend Emily as a conscientious and attentive sitter.”

“Kim is amazing. We are so glad we found someone that we feel so comfortable with taking care of our fur babies. Not only did she take very good care of both of our pups, she also took great care of our home while we were gone. Kim is very kind, professional and you can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does. We are excited to have her take care of our dogs in the future!”

Riley was great with Bruno. She understands the needs of a senior dog and was very patient with our boy and clearly gave him a lot of love and attention. Bruno was very calm and peaceful upon our return. We would definitely hire her again and recommend her to friends and family.
Chantal was AMAZING!!!! We didn't worry even one second about the care of our two dogs, as they showed such evident comfort around her right away. She was communicative, kind, and left our home looking spotless. We would absolutely have her back to care for them. HIGHLY recommend Chantal to anyone looking for reliable care for their animals.

My husband and I had never used Rover before and we were quite skeptical. Keleigh and I spoke on the phone at length then she came over for a visit. Her background, sense of humor, and genuine kindness made her the best match for my senior dog as well as my son's puppy. Kaleigh's knowledge and love of animals, as well as her incredible attention to detail, was critical as our dog ended up getting sick (nothing to do with Keleigh!). Keleigh's amazing communication all week via text and photos--numerous times a day--was incredibly helpful for us to understand what was happening since we were out of town. The spreadsheets that she kept for each dog contained such great details that it helped the vet to diagnose our dog's issue. Keleigh is absolutely amazing and there is no doubt that we will rebook with her. I highly, highly recommend!!
Jennifer was beyond great. We have a very picky English bulldog and she stayed with him for five days, you can tell that Bennett loves Jennifer. She cared for him as if it was her own pet. Very responsible and she was sending us updates quite frequently. Definitely recommend her. She will be our dog sitter/ house sitter from now on.
