About: Hello! I am a lifelong lover of animals and currently have two dogs. I have been petsitting for a few years now and thought signing up on Rover would be a great idea! I have experience petsitting with both cats and dogs. I currently work part-time at a couple of other jobs. Therefore I am most available weekday mornings to afternoons. I could also do some weekday evenings. The only times I am unavailable are Mondays from 10 to 11am, Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm, and most weekend evenings. Although I do not offer pet care in my own home, I can guarantee that I am a responsible person who is very good with gaining the trust of animals. My family has always had a dog in the house, therefore I am able to read their body language well.

“Sara was very responsible and loving to my great Dane and spent a lot of time with her sent me pictures and kept me posted. I would highly recommend her to sit with your animals.”

About: Every dog, cat, and critter gets my full attention, patience, and genuinely endless affection. Your pet will be in hands that actually care, not just someone checking a box. I pay keen attention to their needs, wait patiently for pets to trust me, and show up exactly when I say I will. I'm a law student heading into my second year of school and I have flexibility this summer for regular visits or last-minute help. I've spent years caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and new clients and I'm comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I pay close attention to each animal's cues, take the time to build genuine trust, and am someone you can count on — on time, every time. While I don't have pets of my own right now, I'm surrounded by them constantly and there is honestly nowhere I'd rather be. My schedule is flexible. If it works for you, it works for me. Above all else, I believe communication and timeliness are everything. You'll always hear from me promptly, whether it is confirming a booking, giving an update mid-visit, or letting you know about anything unexpected. No guessing, no chasing me down, just reliable, responsive care you can count on. When I'm in your home, your pet's comfort and routine come first. I follow your instructions closely including feeding schedules, walking routes, any quirks or preferences because familiarity and consistency are what keep animals calm and happy in their parents absence. I treat every home with the same care and respect I'd want shown in my own, and I'm always in close communication so you're never left wondering how things are going. Further, I know that inviting someone new into your home and trusting them with your pets is a big deal, please be assured I'm direct, honest, and an open book.
“Veronica was wonderful and fantastic with our dog and two cats! By the end of the stay she was practically family. Very communicative and responsive. And very helpful when we were delayed getting back. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Emily went above and beyond on this latest house sitting. I was away for a few days and she took extra care to make sure my dogs were OK. She kept me updated with messages at the beginning, middle and end of each day so I always knew how things were going. She is truly amazing to work with.”

“Helena was absolutely AMAZING!!! This was our first time using Rover and the first time we left our dog overnight. She sent us pictures and updates throughout the time we were gone, showing just how relaxed and happy our dog was in her care. When he whined about sleeping in his crate, she kindly let him share the bed with her (with our approval, of course!). He even seemed disappointed when we came home 😉. We cannot recommend Helena more highly!!”

“Mark did a fantastic job with our pup, Winky, who requires shots twice daily. He handled his care beautifully, communicated frequently, and left the house sparkling! We’re having come back very soon!”

“Savannah was great with my dog Nadia when I was out of town for a weekend away! Sent updates and pictures letting me know all was good throughout the weekend which was appreciated! Will definitely ask Savannah for help with Nadia going forward!”

“Rebecca was great! She arrived on time, sent videos and pictures and took great care of our house even washing dishes and stripping the bed. Our pup seemed well taken care of when we returned.”

“We highly recommend Riley. Our little Calli Has some anxiety issues, but she seemed to relax and accept Riley easily. She was in excellent spirits when we returned home, and was well cared for. Riley’s knowledge of pets and her love of them is obvious.”

“Michelle did a great job with our geriatric cats. Medications were properly administered and the cats quickly warmed up to her. She also kept us informed with texts and pictures and dealt with some unscheduled package deliveries.”

“Wesley was an amazing dog sitter. When I got home from my trip, Sadie was relaxed, the house was tidy and even my plants were happy! Wesley sent pictures and videos of Sadie which I appreciated. There was also a puppy report and a card waiting to inform me of the happenings of the stay. I could not recommend Wesley enough.”

“Janei was great! She is super responsive in the app and she was so sweet when we met in person for a meet and greet with Olive. She took great care of Olive and our place while we were out of town and would definitely book with her again!”
“Ajax did a great job with our Great Dane! He assured me that everything was under control while we were out and checked in with us periodically. We will definitely look to use his services again in the future!”

“Emily is fantastic! After meeting, we were immediately put at ease with leaving our pups with them. Emily dealt with our high anxiety dog like a pro and reassured me all was well throughout the visit. Our pack can be a handful but Emily had no problems and went above and beyond for them. I cannot say enough positive things! We will most definitely be using Emily again. Highly recommend!”

About: My love for animals started early — when my family adopted our dog during my third-grade year, I took on real responsibility right away, handling his feedings and nightly walks. That hands-on care grew into a genuine passion that has only deepened over the years. Beyond dogs, I've developed experience with a range of animals, including goats, sheep, pigs, and horses, giving me a well-rounded foundation for handling pets of all personalities and needs. I'm currently studying biology and wildlife conservation at William & Mary, so animal welfare isn't just something I care about — it's what I've built my academic life around. I connect quickly with animals, take their comfort seriously, and will treat every pet in my care with the same patience and attentiveness I'd want for my own. You can feel confident leaving your furry family member in good hands! I'm home for the summer from college and have a very flexible schedule, making me available for bookings on short notice. I may be taking on part-time work as the summer progresses, but I'll always keep my Rover calendar up to date so you know exactly when I'm available. Your instructions are my playbook — I follow them closely and don't cut corners, whether it's feeding schedules, medication routines, or house rules for your pet. I'm naturally observant and attentive, so I stay tuned in to your pet's behavior and body language throughout every visit, picking up on cues that they might need something before it becomes an issue. Your pet's comfort and safety in their own environment is always the priority.

Wingmead pet parents share their Rover experiences
My husband and I had never used Rover before and we were quite skeptical. Keleigh and I spoke on the phone at length then she came over for a visit. Her background, sense of humor, and genuine kindness made her the best match for my senior dog as well as my son's puppy. Kaleigh's knowledge and love of animals, as well as her incredible attention to detail, was critical as our dog ended up getting sick (nothing to do with Keleigh!). Keleigh's amazing communication all week via text and photos--numerous times a day--was incredibly helpful for us to understand what was happening since we were out of town. The spreadsheets that she kept for each dog contained such great details that it helped the vet to diagnose our dog's issue. Keleigh is absolutely amazing and there is no doubt that we will rebook with her. I highly, highly recommend!!
Jennifer was beyond great. We have a very picky English bulldog and she stayed with him for five days, you can tell that Bennett loves Jennifer. She cared for him as if it was her own pet. Very responsible and she was sending us updates quite frequently. Definitely recommend her. She will be our dog sitter/ house sitter from now on.
