About: I have watched almost all species and sizes of pets! I have taken care of pets from young animals to seniors, and love all of them equally! I specifically have experience with rabbits, hamsters, lizards, turtles, chickens, horses, dogs and cats. As a pet parents to three cats, a dog and a bunny, I spend a lot of time caring for and playing with my own pets. I am a college student on break who has plenty of free time to watch and pamper other fur babies! I am a perfectionist when it comes to follow instruction specifically in animal care. She stayed at our home for 5 nights and handled our 3 quirky small dogs like an absolute pro, including our clingy puppy who wouldn’t let Abigail out of her sight! Since our dogs are used to someone working from home, having Abigail there with them was a total game changer. She kept us updated often, communicated about any issues that popped up, and sent the sweetest photos that made us smile (and relax!). About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my calm, attentive approach and my background in caregiving. In my clients’ homes, I take time to understand each pet’s needs, personality, and boundaries. I carefully follow all instructions around feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. I’m attentive to changes in behavior, energy, or appetite and communicate clearly with pet owners so they feel informed and at ease. I adjust my care based on each pet, whether that means slower, sniff-friendly walks for senior dogs, gentle play for dogs who enjoy engagement, or quiet companionship for pets who prefer space. I keep homes clean, maintain litter boxes or feeding areas, and make sure pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for while their people are away.

About: I have owned dogs all my life. At one point I owned 4! I am moving home from college and just got a job in Richmond. I am very flexible and will be in town to help out whenever needed! I am an elementary school teacher in Hanover County during the school year! I am fully open during the summer to care for your pets during the day. I treat them like my own!
