She stayed at our home for 5 nights and handled our 3 quirky small dogs like an absolute pro, including our clingy puppy who wouldn’t let Abigail out of her sight! Since our dogs are used to someone working from home, having Abigail there with them was a total game changer. She kept us updated often, communicated about any issues that popped up, and sent the sweetest photos that made us smile (and relax!). This was our first time booking Abigail and we felt comfortable with her immediately upon meeting her just a few days prior to our trip. We came home to a happy house and 3 very well-loved dogs. “We missed our dogs terribly while away on vacation, but never once were we worried about how they were at home. Carson kept us updated with daily pictures or notes about how they were doing. It was clear how much they immediately took to him and how happy they were with him around. And on top of that, he took some incredible action shots of our dog flipping for the frisbee, which he threw for her each day the sun was shining. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful care Carson gave our dogs and the peace of mind he gave us while traveling. About: I have owned dogs all my life. At one point I owned 4! I am moving home from college and just got a job in Richmond. I am very flexible and will be in town to help out whenever needed! I am an elementary school teacher in Hanover County during the school year! I am fully open during the summer to care for your pets during the day. I treat them like my own! I love to hang out with pets, and I love a list. If there is a specific set of things to do, I will follow it exactly and make sure the pet gets what they need.

About: Hello! I am a lifelong lover of animals and currently have two dogs. I have been petsitting for a few years now and thought signing up on Rover would be a great idea! I have experience petsitting with both cats and dogs. I currently work part-time at a couple of other jobs. Therefore I am most available weekday mornings to afternoons. I could also do some weekday evenings. The only times I am unavailable are Mondays from 10 to 11am, Wednesdays from 9am to 12pm, and most weekend evenings. Although I do not offer pet care in my own home, I can guarantee that I am a responsible person who is very good with gaining the trust of animals. My family has always had a dog in the house, therefore I am able to read their body language well.
