About: I grew up with a dog when I was really little. Growing up I dog sat and walked for my neighbors many times. Led me to be an all around animal lover, which is why I am an environmental studies major at VCU. Currently as college student at VCU(one class everyday Monday-Thursday), my weekends are usually open all day. I am used to waking up early but also very flexible. I like to take note of small habit and dos and don’ts to look back and be thorough in pet care. I am well versed in what dangerous for pets as I grew up with pets and have lived with both cats and dogs.

About: I’ve always had an animal in my home and have helped take care of them. I walked neighbors dogs in my starting in middle school. I love to foster animals when I get the chance helping them find there future home that fits them! Pet care falls naturally into my schedule because I am currently on summer break not working another job. I have plenty of time to provide reliable care throughout the day. About: My love of dogs started in 4th grade when my family adopted the best black Labrador ever! We named him Smoky. I fed him and cared for him. He loved to take walks and fetch sticks. I am organized and can follow a written schedule. My daughter has been doing Rover for a couple of years now. She has taught me the ins and outs of caring for pets in another person’s home. She has encouraged me to do this due to my capabilities and love of pets. I am retired. I have flexibility. My business background taught me the organizational skills to mesh together multiple schedules. And I know how to treat your home with respect. I will follow your written instructions. Feeding, medication, brushing, walking, sleeping. If your pet has had a trauma, I need to know about it. Communication is key. If I am at your home on trash day, I will take out the trash. Let me know what day it is. I will collect your mail. Your home will be treated with respect. Non smoking homes only. Your pet will be loved.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and have been caring for them since I was 9. I have experience with all kinds of personalities, from easygoing dogs to more high-maintenance pets. I grew up with a Labrador/Mastiff mix and now have an older Beagle, two Golden Retrievers, and two cats. So I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages, sizes, and personalities! I’m currently a junior biology student at RMC and plan to pursue veterinary medicine. I’ve also worked as a kennel technician at a boarding facility for 3 years, where I cared for a variety of dogs and cats and learned how to recognize changes in behavior and health, prevent stressful situations, and safely handle different personalities. I’m trained in giving pill and oral medications as well as applying topical medications such as ointments, oils, and sprays. I understand how important it is for medications to be given correctly and on time, especially for pets who rely on medications for conditions like heart or seizure issues. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! I make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, stimulation, and lots of care based on their individual needs. I’m currently a college student at RMC, so my weekday availability depends on my class schedule. My classes are Mondays from 9:10 AM–4:30 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00–9:30 AM, 1:20–2:50 PM, and 4:00–5:00 PM, and Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:10 AM–12:20 PM. I’m best available for house sitting on weekends. During the weekdays, I’m available for cat clients and dogs who don’t need consistent potty breaks throughout the day. I can stay at your home once I’m finished with classes for the day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I can also stop by for a 1–2 hour period after 9:30 AM. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. With 3 years of experience as a kennel technician, I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. I follow your instructions closely and make sure pets receive their meals, medications, exercise, and attention as requested. For house sitting, I’ll treat your home with the same respect I would my own and keep you updated while you’re away. I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident while they’re in my care.

About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life and have experience with dog walking, bathing, and dog park trips and just love to be around dogs! I am not currently working so I have plenty of time to walk and take care of your dogs! Weekdays and weekends are available and I’m happy to work around your schedule. About: I am a former Animal Control Officer. I have 5+ years in the veterinary field and another 10+ years of experience in general animal welfare. I am comfortable with animal handling and giving medications. I have experience with many different breeds and ages, no fur friend too small or too tall! I am comfortable with rescue fur friends with special needs. Pet care is not only part of my daily routine at home with my own animals but my goal is to make pet care my full time job for others animals as well! I currently am working part time which gives me time to make sure your animals are well cared for and get plenty of attention throughout our time together! About: I’ve had pets my entire life growing up. In terms of dogs had a yellow lab, golden retrievers, mutts. I’ve also had many cats growing up and a wide variety of other pets, such as Guinea pigs, hamsters, hermit crabs and even pigme goats. I have also been very active in taking care of all of my families pets. I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats. One of my dogs is a Newfie mix and almost pulls my arm off whenever I walk him. So if I can handle walking him I’m sure I can handle waking any dog! I have also worked at a petting zoo and on a private farm taking care of animals.
