Professionally, I’ve worked at doggy daycares, other dog-walking and pet-sitting apps, and volunteered to assist with puppy births. My experience is mostly with dogs; however, I have taken care of cats and more! I work a full-time job, but my hours are flexible which means I have days I am in-office or at home and I do not work weekends. It is very easy for me to leave work to provide pet care and return later that day or make-up hours later in the week. We are new to the area and our plans for our two dogs fell through right before our family vacation! We searched and found Andy on Rover, and weren’t quite sure how things would go since we have never hired someone we didn’t know, or at least have the chance to test them out prior to a trip. We were gone for 5 nights, and Andy took the most incredible care of our dogs. I was completely at ease after the first day he spent with them as he proved to be highly reliable and attentive. He was also attentive to all the needs of the house as well (without being asked). He asked about and took care of trash and recycling, and left the house in better condition than we had left it in. More importantly, our dogs are in fantastic condition and we know they’ve been well cared for, fed, and exercised. They are VERY needy/high energy dogs (Vizslas) and so the state that they were in when we returned speaks volumes about the care they received from Andy. We would hands down recommend him to anyone, and I will certainly book him for future visits. Andy, from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!!! You saved us! ☺️
I can only give Isabella 5 Stars but would happily give her more. She was wonderful to work with from the beginning, being very responsive and professional. She listened to our needs and helped customize a schedule that worked for our two dogs. One has some anxiety issues and the other is older and requires daily medications. She handle both with ease. She checked in with me daily and reached out with a couple questions to clarify while we were away to ensure they had the level of care needed. I was so appreciative of this as this was the first time she had stayed with my dogs. The dogs really seem to like her and she them. I was impressed with her attention to detail. We will absolutely hire her again.
