About: I am new to Richmond and looking to explore with my pup, Rubens. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with other dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all breeds, ages, and energy levels. Would love for my dog to have a play mate during the day. Using Rover to keep a routine and explore Richmond while I look for a full time position. I am currently new to Richmond and in between jobs. I walk my dog anywhere from 5-12x a day from 15-75 minutes (depending on weather, need to get out of the house, etc.). My job right now is to enjoy the outdoors with my dog and yours! Rubens and I welcome all other dogs as family! I live in a first floor apt with a small fenced backyard (only for small dogs). There is a hallway that runs from the front door to the back yard area, which is where Rubens likes to do zoomies or be a watch guard dog for the doors. As far as behaviors, Rubens is allowed on my furniture and has a small basket of toys that he shares. Treats are only during training and water is down at all times. We are pretty flexible, but can also set rules per your request to stay on your schedule/routine.

He was also my soul dog and constant companion so I understand the love one has for their furry family members. I’m at home during the day so I have the ability to play and love on your special baby frequently. I lost my soul dog, my frenchie, in December 2024 and have so much love to give. I would be honored to share my heart with your family member. I have a fenced in back yard where your doggies can play and there are no other dogs or kids in the household. I also love to take them on walks in the neighborhood, if they like walks. They would get extra special attention and may come home a little more spoiled. I also love hanging out with your pets on the sofa and sleeping with them in the bed but if there is a specific routine you want me to follow, I will follow your instructions to a tee.

I worked for veterinary services specializing in boarding care for 8 years through out schooling -Will ensure your home is left in the condition received with minimal housekeeping (will take trash out and clean up any pet accidents they may have due to medical conditions. Additional requests can be discussed with or without additional pricing) -Our commitment is to ensure your pets safety, emotionally and physically as if they are our own -Regular updates will be provided streamlining communication -I choose Rover over other traditional “2nd jobs”, because I want to enjoy the work we do! Looking forward to meeting you and your fur babies! I have a full-time job, however, remotely!! This allows one person at all times to care for your pets, during most hours! My personal break(s) will be scheduled based on both client and provider agreed upon schedules. For example: after evening pet care, there will be a 2-4 hour provider break for dinner and family time before returning for overnight care. Home has pvc wood vinyl for easy mess clean up. The yard is flat and fully fenced in. Warmer weather will have plastic kiddo pools for dogs to cool off. If your dog weighs more than 85 pounds, I require dogs to be leashed trained and/or with a “no pull” dog harness for the safety of your pet and care taker. Meaning, dogs that continually pull excessively while on leash, will either receive short potty breaks, or only “fenced-in” activities. This will be agreed upon at initial encounter. We understand the need to burn off energy! We want to keep everyone safe while we strive to keep the routine as close to yours as much as possible.

About: As I am sure you have been told by many dog walkers in the past- I have been around dogs, large and small, since I can remember. My parents always made sure that dogs were present in our household, as well as considered prominent family members. My dad, as a quadriplegic, had service animals for my entire memorable life, and I, as often as I could, assisted in continuously training them from tricks to tasks. I helped my uncles break horses, run cattle, and train farm dogs as needed for farms and ranches, and have never had any less than a smile on my face doing so. About: My first business venture, in elementary school, started with posting flyers in my neighborhood for my dog-walking business, to prove to my parents that I could take care of a family dog if we were to get one. It worked; we got our first family dog, and have been a dog family ever since! Now I have my own golden retriever named Koa who is the light of my life, loves coming with me anywhere he is allowed, and has yet to meet a stranger. I always have a surplus of love to give, especially when it comes to animals, and my post-pandemic job now provides me with plenty of flexibility. Let me love on your fur baby, too!
