“Cathy is such an awesome sitter & our kitty Luna enjoyed her daily visits with her! Cathy is great about sending detailed messages about her visits & was attentive to what Luna needed, like vitamins & things. I always love seeing pics of our kitty that Cathy sends & feel comforted that Luna looks happy.”

“Jackie was GREAT with Louie! She took such good care of him while I was gone. She kept me updated and sent so many pictures. He had such a great time, we’ve already booked her next visit with him. :)”

“Helen is wonderful! She responds quickly and was able to accommodate last minute requests. She is great with our puppy always keeping her entertained. We will definitely continue to use Helen’s services.”

“Haven dropped in on our dog and cat while we were out of town and it was a great experience. This was our first time using Rover instead of taking them to a boarding facility and I think it was much less stressful for our girls to be in their own home environment. We appreciated the updates and photos provided throughout, and our pup in particular definitely seemed to enjoy the extra belly rubs and attention. We would absolutely book with Haven again in the future if needed. Thanks again! ?”

About: Hello! I've been working with dogs professionally for 3 years. I also work at Ruff Canine Club in Scott's Addition as a "rufferee"! I'm very interested in dog behavior so I've learned a lot over the years about handling all sizes, levels of reactivity and unique quirks. Can't forget about CATS! I love them too :) I am comfortable administering medication, vet visits, walks, yard play, managing multi pet households, puppies and seniors. I am currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule. I have a car so I can easy transport to and from homes. Unfortunately, with where I am living, I am unable to board pets at my residence. I provide in home sitting through my personal business and do not offer it through Rover (only walks and drop ins).
“Lynn was absolutely incredible with both of our dogs! She was very patient during our meet and greet, learning the ins and outs of a special diet for the corgi and understanding the energy levels of our pittie. She was super flexible in meeting with us, stopping over, and extremely communicative! We look forward to booking her again!!”

“Rachel was great! She was flexible and able to add more visits when a crisis came up. I really appreciated her daily pictures and updates. It put me at ease while I was away!”

“Julia did a great job for me when dropping in to watch my dogs recently. She sent me updates over text and even sent pictures when she was there. Highly recommended!”

“Isabella did a great job taking care of our puppy Riley! She was very good with bonding with him even though he's very shy. She also does a great job communicating throughout the visit. I look forward to having her care for Riley in the future.”

“Thank you thank you! Thumper loves you and you were right about his ears. I hope you have a wonderful spring and I will definitely book you again when I need someone!”

“Laura is fantastic! We always feel completely at ease leaving our dog in her care. Her communication is excellent, and we know our pup is always well-looked after. Highly recommend her!”

“Alexandra (Lexi) was AMAZING. The dogs fell in love with her right away and she was such an overall joy to interact with. She was very communicative, flexible, and super caring. Could not recommend her more for your pups!”

“We could not have been happier with the care Allyson provided to our cat Harry this week. Allyson sent detailed updates with photos for each visit (we had her visit twice daily while we were gone). She bonded really well with our kitty. She also appropriately clarified questions regarding care for his chronically blocked tear duct. We will for sure be booking her again. Highly recommend!!”

“Shannon is reliable and highly communicative. Our cat is very anxious and not always on her best behavior. Shannon is a gem and deals with anything that may come her way. I highly recommend her.”

Isabella was amazing! She was great at keeping informed not only about my fur baby but to what was happening at my home. She cared for my baby just like I would have. I was very comfortable with leaving her in charge of my baby. Would bring her back every time!

Ally was amazing we will definitely be booking with her again. She was extremely fast to respond to each message I sent, super friendly when we did our meet and greet, and exactly on time for each visit. She sent lots of pics and updates, and even went above and beyond to bring in our packages for us. Our shy kitty Nelly warmed up to her right away which made me feel so comfortable that he is in good hands! She did a great job administering his medication.

Randi went above and beyond to make sure our animals were taken care of. She even voluntarily took home a chick that could not walk and fixed it's leg so it can get around on its own now. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Some of my chickens were not doing so well and thanks to her advice, they are looking healthier. I'd highly recommend her.

This was the first time using Rover and Julia for my cats and chickens while having to be at a family function in the midwest. Everything on the homefront went smoothly and Julia provided me with peace of mind tending to my fur babies . I will definitely be using her services again!

Tiffany is an absolute superstar! We were leaving our little princess Ms Lizzz home alone for the first time since we got her and Tiffany was an absolute godsend. She was engaging, attentive and playful. I think Ms Lizzz will miss her visits now that we’re back home. Highly recommend Tiffany if you want peace of mind with your four-legged family while you’re away!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Blue Star Estates. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
