About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

About: Since college, I’ve been asked to care for others’ puppies/dogs! I’m intentional in knowing your buddy’s personality and wants/needs. I wanna make sure that they feel as loved as they do with you! I work a 9am - 5pm job and I make sure that my own pup is cared for before my day starts, during lunch time, and after my job. If they boarded with me, I would spend at least an hour and a half with your pup and mine to make sure that they get a big chunk of exercise (walking, playing, training), get fed, & get snuggles before I leave for work. Then, during my lunch hour I would make sure that they get fed, go for a walk, & play. At night, I would have the same structure with a little bit more of rest time and play time! While I’m at work, I keep my pup in a small play pen with toys/activities. She has to a little bit of room to walk around in the play pen as well. I have an extra play pen for your pup to be in while I’m at work or they can be in the same pen as my pup!

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life. My parents had a dog before I was born, so being around and caring for pets has always been normal for me. As she got older, I learned how to take care of a senior dog and became more patient and attentive to her needs. We later got a new puppy, and I helped raise her, so I’m comfortable with both energetic dogs and keeping up with routines. My family also used to pet sit pretty often, so I’ve been around a lot of different dogs with different personalities. As I got older, I started pet sitting on my own for family friends and people in my neighborhood. I really enjoy it and try to make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. I own a pet dog already so I’m always on the lookout for anything she needs! We also go to the dog park or on walks! For drop-in visits and walks, I focus on keeping your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible. During drop-ins, I make sure they’re fed, have fresh water, and get attention based on their needs, whether that’s playtime, company, or just a calm presence. I also handle things like quick cleanups or litter boxes if needed. For walks, I make sure your dog gets safe, active exercise while paying attention to their pace and behavior. I’m careful with leashes, surroundings, and making sure they stay comfortable the whole time. I always follow any specific instructions closely and try to make sure your pet feels safe and cared for while you’re away. I can also send updates if you’d like so you know how everything is going.
