About: I've owned dogs, cats & horses my entire life. I currently have 2 rescue dogs, 2 cats and a horse that are all treated like human children. I'm familiar with both young and elderly animals that require medical assistance. I work from home in Glen Allen. I have a flexible schedule and can check on your pet during the day and before/after work. I am comfortable with walking all dogs, crating dogs, working on commands and especially providing love and treats if desired! Happy to also prepare lick mats or other stimulation while you're away.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats for as long as I can remember! Growing up as an only child, our pets were my built-in best friends and caring for them was my responsibility from a young age. That love for animals has only grown with me. Over the years, friends and neighbors have trusted me to drop in, walk, and stay with their pets while they’re away, and I genuinely love getting to know each animal and their individual personality, routines, and quirks. These days, I’m a mom to a toddler and three very loved pets of my own, including my Golden Retriever, who is always happy to join me for a random walk during the day! I’d love to add a few more furry friends to my walking schedule and give them the same attention, patience, and affection I give my own. In our house, pets aren’t just pets, they’re family. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved pet in someone else’s care, and I’ll always treat yours with the same love and importance I would want someone to give mine. Whether they need a good walk, some playtime, company, or just someone to make sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’d be so happy to be that person! I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility throughout my day! I’m able to come and go as needed, so fitting walks, drop-ins, and visits into my daily routine is easy. I also have a great support system at home, which allows me to be flexible with scheduling and give your pets the time and attention they need. Because my work is remote, I can also bring it with me when needed! If your pet would benefit from a little extra company beyond a typical drop-in, I’m happy to settle in with my laptop and spend some additional time with them rather than rushing out the door. As a mom and pet owner myself, caring for both little humans and furry family members is already a big part of my everyday life. My child has been raised around animals and taught from the beginning to be gentle and respectful of their space. My schedule allows me plenty of freedom to make pet care a natural, and very welcome, part of my day! In our house, pet care is part of our everyday routine! I make sure fresh water is always available both upstairs and downstairs and changed daily, my cats’ food is checked and replenished each day, and my dog eats on a consistent twice-daily schedule. When I’m home, my dog gets a morning or afternoon walk, plenty of trips outside to our fenced backyard throughout the day, and usually a daycare day or two each week for some extra exercise and socialization. When I leave the house, I’m also very mindful of his safety, he stays comfortably downstairs with access to his bed and water, potential chewing hazards are put away, and toys that require supervision are never left out. I’d bring that same level of attention to caring for your pets! I know every animal and household has its own routine, so I’m happy to follow your feeding schedule, potty or litter box routine, walking preferences, playtime rules, and any other instructions that help your pet feel comfortable. Whether your pet thrives on a strict schedule or has their own wonderfully specific set of quirks, I want their routine to feel as normal as possible while you’re away.

About: As a Registered Nurse, caring for others has always been at the heart of who I am. That same compassion and attention to detail naturally extends to animals.. I know your pets are family, and I’ll care for them with the same patience, love, and vigilance I’d want for my own. Whether it’s keeping them on their routine, giving medications, or simply providing plenty of playtime, cuddles, and companionship, my goal is to keep them safe, healthy, happy, and loved while you’re away so you can have complete peace of mind. I believe your pets deserve my undivided attention. That’s why I only accept one family at a time. My hybrid work schedule allows me to work from home two days per week, and I can often adjust those days to be home even more with your pet. Depending on how far your home is from my office, I am also be able to come home for lunch for walks or playtime. If your pet is happiest in their own environment, I’m happy to provide care in your home. I can care for multiple dogs, cats, or a combination of pets, and I’m also open to caring for other animals. My goal is to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and maintain their normal routine while you’re away. About: I worked at an animal hospital as a kennel assistant while in high school. I would walk pets, feed them, and play with them. I then moved on to become a veterinary assistant and have been one since I graduated high school. I have lived with animals my whole life. I currently have a five-year-old female German Shepard, a two year old Pointer Lab, and two cats. My GS, Tsuki, is a sweetheart who loves to always be by her mom's side and loves her walks. My pointer lab, Chance, is the most distinguished gentleman that just loves to play and constantly be learning new commands. Chance and Tsuki have two sisters, Mila (9 years old) and Ivy (4 year old). Mila loves her space, while my little Ivy is my trouble maker who loves to pull pranks on Tsuki and cause trouble with Chance. I feel like working with animals in a clinic and having my own has been a rewarding experience to learn more about animals and how each one has its own dislikes and likes. I have a very flexible employment, that sometimes I am able to work from home. I am happy to check on the fur baby as often as you would prefer and send you all the pictures! I have a fenced backyard for those dogs that love to be running around outside. If I am coming to your house, then I love taking walks and if you prefer, I would love to take them to the dog park. You let me know what you would allow/prefer for the care of your pet, and I will do just that!

About: I have experience with “basic training” meaning sit, paw, wait at door to potty, wait to eat unless given approval (meaning not to rush to eat and wait for me to put food in the bowl). I have grown up with dogs my whole life and I have loved and cared for every single one of them until they have passed away from cancer or natural causes. I have 2 pups currently that I have rescued one from abuse and one from the animal shelter. If I could have more animals I definitely would but it is not possible for me (it could be if my husband approved lol). Pet care fits into my daily or weekly routine because I am currently 2 month postpartum and have become a stay at home mom. I would love to be able to help take care of animals while pet parents are going on vacation or have to work long excessive hours or just in general need of help when needed. I have a fenced in yard. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats currently with one recently passing away a year ago from a virus that didn’t show up until she was 2 years old (genetic). My cats have one cat litter box (automatic one) and it cleanse itself, however it needs a deep cleaning once a month or every other month. I teach my 2 pups how to sit, give paw, and wait for my command to start eating and go to door when needing to go potty.
