My love of dogs started in 4th grade when my family adopted the best black Labrador ever! We named him Smoky. I fed him and cared for him. He loved to take walks and fetch sticks. I am organized and can follow a written schedule. My daughter has been doing Rover for a couple of years now. She has taught me the ins and outs of caring for pets in another person’s home. She has encouraged me to do this due to my capabilities and love of pets.

I will follow your written instructions. Feeding, medication, brushing, walking, sleeping. If your pet has had a trauma, I need to know about it. Communication is key. If I am at your home on trash day, I will take out the trash. Let me know what day it is. I will collect your mail. Your home will be treated with respect. Non smoking homes only. Your pet will be loved.

I was worried that when we got home from our beach vacation that our pets would demand that Helen be their new mom. She took our dog for two walks a day without being asked. She fed our 19 year old kitty like the queen that she is. And she discussed trivia with our middle cat who often gets overlooked. She also sent pictures everyday and bless her, dealt with over 12 hours of a power outage from a storm on the last day. I had zero worries about our fur babies and home while we were gone. Would absolutely rebook her in the future!
Helen was great! Very communicative and made us feel totally reassured that our boys were being taken care of. Took great care of our dogs and our place!
Helen was absolutely incredible with our two cats! They are seniors with special needs and very human-oriented, and Helen put our minds at complete ease when she house sat for a night and two days while we were out of state. She provided updates, photos, and kept in touch with us throughout the whole time we were away. She even very kindly brought our mail and hellofresh inside, and made up the bed so we could just drop our bags and settle in at home when we returned. Definitely rebooking anytime we need her services in the future!

Helen came on fairly short notice to house and dog sit for a week. The house was perfect when we got back and the my two big golden doodles were very happy. I was so glad we had someone here we could trust.
Helen is wonderful! She responds quickly and was able to accommodate last minute requests. She is great with our puppy always keeping her entertained. We will definitely continue to use Helen’s services.

I am retired. I have flexibility. My business background taught me the organizational skills to mesh together multiple schedules. And I know how to treat your home with respect.

- I need to know if your pet has experienced a trauma. Let me know the best way to administer medication to your pet. I want to do it the way you do it. For injections, I need specific instructions. If there are things that scare your pet, thunderstorms, etc., it helps for me to know this. Things that overly excite your dog, I would like to know. This is especially helpful when walking your dog. Where does your pet sleep? Where does your pet like to hide? Having a detailed written schedule is very important. I want to provide your fur baby with the best care. Communication is the best step to achieve that.
