About: My whole life I have been surrounded by animals, from dogs, cats, to horses you name it. I was a member of two 4-H clubs where I would show my dog in agility and showed my horse in the Dutchess county fair. About: As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have had pets my whole life and have gained the nickname Dr. Doolittle because of how good I am with all types of animals! I have always been a natural at caretaking for animals and kids. About: I've been walking dogs since I was 12 years old, of various sizes, behaviors, and energy levels. I also attended an Agricultural High School and learned 1 year of dog training and 2 years of dog grooming in high school. The past job I worked at was a dog daycare for a seasonal job. Then had side jobs where I walked other people's dogs and babysat cats I currently have 1 dog, 2 cats, and 2 reptiles that I care for. One of my cats is an adult, and the other is a kitten. I am a recent college graduate, and my only routine is waking up at 6 am to take my roommate to school at 7 am. Then picking my roommate up from school at 3:15pm. Otherwise, just looking for jobs. I have a fenced-in yard, and the pet would be supervised and never left alone. If they need to be left alone, there is a small room and a crate to protect them from getting into anything when unsupervised. I am the type of person who worries about the animal's health and will always let the owner know if I notice anything abnormal with the pet.

Meg was great with our pets! Our dog is a reactive rescue who usually takes multiple visits before he’s comfortable and he was begging her to pet him within the first 30 minutes. Our cat is elderly and needs medication and Meg was great with her as well. She was super communicative so we always felt like we knew exactly what was going on at home. We’ll definitely be booking more visits in the future and recommend Meg!
Mary took such good care of our gang of quadrupeds. We booked last minute but she was still able to schedule a meet & greet with the crew prior to caring for them. One of our dogs (ok, 2) struggles with new people, but Mary was patient and took her on a little trust walk to get acclimated, which meant a lot to us. Scott was wonderful with our 3 dogs. One has stranger danger and he she warmed up to him with no question. Our puppy had some accidents and he made sure his crate was cleaned and dry. He was prompt and communicated very well. Would use him again in a heart beat!
