About: I am a dedicated pet sitter with over seven years of experience providing loving care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and breeds. Growing up with dogs, I have developed a passion for animal welfare at a young age, and have decided to turn this passion into a career, offering peace of mind to pet owners while they are away. I also have a German Shepherd Mix named Paloma, who is a sweet and loving rescue, but can also be anxious and temperamental in certain environments. Therefore, I am well-equipped with the knowledge and understanding required to care for dogs that require extra attention/accommodation. I have a full-time job, but can be available outside of my work hours of 7:30-4:30pm M-F. If needed and communicated in advance, I can be flexible. As an experienced and loving pet sitter, I bring exceptional care to make every visit special in your home, I'll follow your routines, manage any quirks with ease, and shower your dog with the affection they deserve, ensuring their comfort and happiness while you're away.

“Linda is wonderful, responsive and great with our cats. We were very stressed to leave our cats for 9 days but after multiple check ins with Linda, we felt much more at ease. I would highly recommend booking Linda!”

About: Hi, I am a mature and experienced pet owner. I grew up with dogs, cats, and horses, and loved my own dogs (Rottweiler, Boxers, Jack Russell and Frenchton) while raising my children. I am unfortunately not able to have my own pets due to where I live. I have traveled for work, sporting events and vacations and know the stress of finding care for my pets where they will feel loved and be well taken care of. I want to offer peace of mind to others when they cannot take their furry family members with them when traveling. I work from home so I will be able to treat you pet like my own. I will be there in the morning, evening, and throughout the day. I can bring my work supplies to you home (reliable wifi is required) to work. I am unable to care for pets in my home. When caring for your pet in your home I will follow the instructions you provide. I enjoy playing and hanging out with cats and dogs but also know not all cats and dogs are the same. Through conversation with you I will learn how best to interact with your pet to ensure there is a great experience for all. The boxers in my picture were mine. They live long spoiled lives, with lots of love and play time. The fawn with the white face was hand-signal trained and if you know boxers, you know that takes patience. They both love people of all ages and were as goofy and as lovable as their boxer reputation.
“Cassy, Thank you so much for all your help! We were so glad you were able to come and help with Dexter. It was so amazing we knew that he was taken being care of the whole time.”

“I’ve booked with Lydia multiple times now, and every experience has been excellent. She is a great communicator, always sends photo updates, and treats my dog so well. My dog is always happy and comfortable when I return. Highly recommend!”

About: My life has always been centered around animals. Growing up I had dogs, cats, and even started riding horses at 8 years old. As I got older I realized there’s nothing better than giving back to the animals that do so much for us. I now work at a trusted animal hospital as a veterinary assistant and I’m in school to become a veterinary technician. I have experience with many different animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. As a veterinary assistant I have a schedule that changes by week, but I typically have weekends and one or two weekdays off. In order to prioritize time with your fur baby I only set my availability to my days off, or walks after I get out of work. Safety and comfort are priorities for me. For pets it can be scary when their owners are away so I always take the necessary steps to ease their minds. I will treat your pets exactly how I would want mine to be treated.
About: I have dealt with dogs nearly my entire life! I’d love to pop in and take your pup for a walk and spend some one on one time with them! I have expierence in a lot of various dog breeds! I work full time as a Nurse and am looking for something rewarding to do after my daily 8-4! I currently work full time as a Nurse. I work some days until 2 or 4. Although I do have quite a bit of flexibility! I am trustworthy and am more than willing to provide pop in visits or can discuss other options if needed in your home as well!
“I like Loren a lot. She's down-to-earth and easy to communicate with. My two kitties seemed to feel really comfortable with her from the very first moment. She was conscientious about following my instructions, and I am happy with the care she gave. I trust Loren and will request her services again in the future.”

“Michelle helped us out in a pinch with a sick cat who needed meds during Christmas. She was very responsive and sent us pictures every time she came to the house. You can tell she really cares about your pets. Thanks again Michelle!”

“Jessica was fantastic with my cat! I arrived home after having to travel for work to a healthy and happy cat and an apartment that was just the way I had left it. Jessica provided a clear summary of each visit and was overall a great catsitter! Will book again.”

About: I’ve been passionate about dogs since I was 5 years old and my dad arrived home with Princess my first golden puppy. For the past 2 years, I’ve extended that love by caring for my neighbors’ dogs, providing them with the same level of attention and affection as I did with my own. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or simply spending quality time with them, I’m dedicated to ensuring each dog feels happy and loved. I work an 8 till 4pm during the week, but I love to go for walks after my job and being to spend that time with a furry companion excites me! When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I prioritize maintaining their usual routine to minimize stress. I take the time to learn about each pet’s specific needs and habits, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in their own space. I treat their home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean and tidy, and make sure the pets receive love while their owners are away.
About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!
“Kaitlyn was so amazing! From the moment we did a meet and greet, she was so great with Millie (who is a high-energy pitbull lab mix). She was very respectful of our house and listened to our directions for caring for Millie. We came home to a very happy, well-cared for dog. She sent us a bunch of amazing pictures that made us feel very comfortable and happy while we were away. Kaitlyn is a great communicator, and messaged us back quickly each time. We already have asked her to dog sit again, and Millie can't wait to play with her new friend soon! Thanks Kaitlyn! :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Halfmoon
Natasha did a wonderful job of caring for our chihuahua mix, Molly. Natasha has a warm, kind and composed attitude which relaxed our little girl and made her feel safe and comfortable. Our walking situation is a bit challenging as we live in an apartment building with elevators and secure access, but Natasha and Molly had a productive walk with no issues. I would strongly recommend Natasha for any of you dog sitting or walking needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
