About: Hi, my name is Leydi! I’ve loved dogs and cats my whole life and have been around them since I was little. I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs and cats for family and friends. I’ve always dreamed of working with animals because I truly enjoy being around them and making sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for. I love seeing dogs go on walks, play, and just enjoy their day, and I feel the same way about cats and their unique personalities. Rover feels like a perfect fit for me because I get to do something I genuinely love. I’m very patient, responsible, caring, and attentive, and I would love the chance to meet and take care of your furry friend :) I’m super responsible and committed. I can definitely accommodate your needs with a little bit of advance notice. Having my own dog, I know how much time they need, so I dedicate pretty much all of my free time to her and I'd love to do the same for your pup! I live in an apartment complex surrounded by lots of nature! We have a dedicated area in the back with both a fenced dog park and a big open one. I have a small dog named Lola who is super friendly and loves playing with dogs and cats. While I prefer watching your pup at your place, I’m happy to host for doggy daycare!

About: I have been dog sitting dogs since I was a teenager. I have experience with many different breeds both big and small. Since I don’t have any pets of my own right now I love being able to go meet new furry friends and play with them I have a pretty flexible work schedule. I can make my own schedule based off of the needs clients may have. Trust is built through communication 🤝 You’ll get photo and text updates during every visit so you can see exactly what your pup is up to. About: I’ve always grew up surrounded by animals, I currently have 1 dog and 10 cats, also a mourning dove named pedro. I am also a licensed wildlife rehabber, if you have a wildlife problem you can count on me to help! I feed my children twice a day And check the litter-boxes twice a day as well. The wildife I care for in my home in my animal shed with cages. I also have a gated area in my yard to feed the strays and wildlife animals that come and go as they please.

I spent 5 years working at Mohawk Hudson as the Admissions Supervisor and also served as one of the Animal Cruelty Officers. During that time, I worked with pets of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, which taught me patience, understanding, and how to provide the best care possible. The “bad nuggets” have always been my favorite—I love working with animals who might need a little extra time, reassurance, or structure. About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve owned multiple dogs & cats that are sadly no longer with me. I love the joy going for a run or walk can bring them. Bathing your furry friend is never an issue. I do have a cat named Zelda who loves animals but she’s the only one I have now. Offering boarding services for holiday times coming up! I work part time and go to school full time as well as being a mother to my daughter. We can always talk about what works best for us both & your furry friend(s). I do have an open backyard but I do have extra long tie outs so they will be able to run. I have no problem taking them to a local dog park or a walk around the neighborhood. If you’re going on vacation & your furry friend can’t come, we can easily discuss what works best for scheduling.

I am available many of hours of the day during the week and weekend. I will not accept a job that I cannot reasonably provide care for the pet. I take advantage of animals’ unique physiological systems (i.e. smell, slow movements) to gain trust. I like to stick to pets’ household routines. If there are specific instructions for going outside, I would like to know ahead of time.

About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!
