About: I’ve had cats my entire life and a dog since I was ten. I’ve also been volunteering at animal shelters since the beginning of 2024! I have a calm energy which is great for putting anxious pets at ease. I have the most experience with small dogs but love dogs of all sizes! I have the most availability on weekends but I have no problem making weeknight visits to provide your pets with the care they deserve! I have my own car so transportation is not an issue. Pet safety whether out and about or in your home is my top priority! I am careful to observe animal body language so I can better know when to give a pet space or remove them from a distressing situation. If you have any care or safety concerns that are specific to your home or pet, do not hesitate to let me know!
“I highly recommend Lydia. Her calm energy is exactly what my dogs need. My lively dogs are happy and tired after her walks and drop-ins. What I appreciate most about my interaction with Lydia is her communication. She is proactive and thoughtful in the way she communicates. She asks for clarification and she anticipates any possible needs that may come up. It was great to see photos and get her updates when she spent time with the dogs. I feel confident she will carry out whatever we discuss. She is also reliable and timely. I would definitely call on her again!”

“Rachelle was amazing - on time, highly communicative, and a wonderful person to spend time with our fur babies while we were away! We will definitely use Rachelle again next time.”

“Debbie was amazing! She was patient and kind towards our shy and mean cat. Our cat can be hard to be around since he scares most people but she did amazing with him. We look forward to having her visit our cat again when we are out of town!”

“Juliana has actually been checking on my dog Luna and my cat Lami for several months now! I encouraged her to join Rover so other lucky dogs and cats could have her visit them too. Highly recommend her services. Great communication and sends photos and updates!”

“Larry was super patient with our shy (and sometimes mean) kitty! We appreciate that he always made sure to find her and make sure she was safe even when she hid in the oddest spots.”

About: I am a dedicated pet sitter with over seven years of experience providing loving care for dogs of all ages, temperaments, and breeds. Growing up with dogs, I have developed a passion for animal welfare at a young age, and have decided to turn this passion into a career, offering peace of mind to pet owners while they are away. I also have a German Shepherd Mix named Paloma, who is a sweet and loving rescue, but can also be anxious and temperamental in certain environments. Therefore, I am well-equipped with the knowledge and understanding required to care for dogs that require extra attention/accommodation. I have a full-time job, but can be available outside of my work hours of 7:30-4:30pm M-F. If needed and communicated in advance, I can be flexible. As an experienced and loving pet sitter, I bring exceptional care to make every visit special in your home, I'll follow your routines, manage any quirks with ease, and shower your dog with the affection they deserve, ensuring their comfort and happiness while you're away.

“Laney is amazing! I’ve used her 3 or 4 times for nearly week long drop-ins for my elderly cat. Simone always seems happy to see me home, but was obviously well cared for in my absence. Great communication, handles my old door and funky electronic locks with ease, etc etc. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Kaeleigh is a kind, caring, and honest pet sitter. She pays great attention to detail and sends me information about my cat's disposition (with photos) during every drop-in visit. About: As a lifelong dog lover and owner, I understand how important pets are to a family. I provide dependable walking and sitting services with patience, attention, and genuine care. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I value building trust with both pets and families through consistency, communication, and kindness. I work part-time, but I have open and flexible availability. I am willing to adjust my schedule to meet the needs of clients and provide consistent, reliable care, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed. Whether in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize safety, comfort, and consistency. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special instructions provided. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while maintaining a calm and secure environment. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep everything clean and organized, and provide regular updates so owners feel confident and informed. My goal is to ensure every pet feels safe, loved, and cared for as if they were my own.

About: Having grown up with cats and dogs, I recently spent a couple of years on a horse farm caring for horses, cows, chickens, large dogs, and barn cats. From feeding and bathing to administering medicine, I've spent years with animals. I love meeting new pets and learning about them. I look forward to making memories with these new pets and hopefully making pet parents’ day a little easier. I’m currently a senior in high school but I only have 3 classes from 10-12:30 making my schedule pretty open on weekdays. On weekends I host kids birthday parties which are usually only 2 hours and from 12-2 or 2-4 other than that I am free. When it comes to drop in visits I like to follow strictly to pet parents instructions to make sure all expectations are being met with no risk of harm to pets or property.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
