Pet Sitting Latham

About: As a lifelong dog lover, I know just how special the bond between a person and their dog can be. About a year ago, I unexpectedly lost my own boy to a sudden heart condition. It broke my heart, and for a while, I couldn’t imagine opening my home to another dog of my own. I do, however, miss having dogs in my life—their personalities, their companionship, and all the joy they bring. That’s what led me to Rover! I’d love the opportunity to give your pup some extra love, attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re away. Your dog will be treated like family, with plenty of patience, affection, and care. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pup with someone else, and I’d be honored to be that person for you. 🐾❤️ I’m a bartender with a schedule that gives me plenty of flexibility during the weekdays. My days off are often spent getting outside for walks, runs, and enjoying some fresh air, so having a pup to join me would be the perfect addition to my routine! Because I work at a seasonal location, my availability will become even more flexible as the season winds down. I’m looking forward to using that extra time to spend with dogs, whether that means a long walk, some playtime, or simply giving your pup some company and attention while you’re away. I’m active, dependable, and genuinely love being around dogs, so I’d be happy to make your pup part of my everyday routine! 🐾 I have a large two story home with plenty of space for roaming and playing, as well as a fenced in back yard. We do not have any pets at the moment so it’s very easy to accommodate yours.

About: I’ve had jobs caring for senior dogs, puppies, and/or super anxious and reactive dogs. I’m very patient, diligent, and will love your babies like my own :) I also have experience dog sitting for the president of my college! I have recently graduated from college and am living in the Albany area for the time being. My schedule is very flexible. I am not able to board dogs at my home at this time, as I do not live alone. I live in a tidy, quiet home with an unfenced yard, though I am not able to board dogs in my home at this time :(

About: I have been caring for pets for friends and family for many years. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to cleaning up pet messes. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for. I am mostly available weeknights and weekends. I am currently working full-time, but I have the ability to check in on pets during the day if needed. Weekday mornings are usually a little busy for me. While I cannot currently offer housing for pets in my home, partly due to a cat diva, I can promise to be respectful of any home I enter.

About: Having grown up with cats and dogs, I recently spent a couple of years on a horse farm caring for horses, cows, chickens, large dogs, and barn cats. From feeding and bathing to administering medicine, I've spent years with animals. I love meeting new pets and learning about them. I look forward to making memories with these new pets and hopefully making pet parents’ day a little easier. I’m currently a senior in high school but I only have 3 classes from 10-12:30 making my schedule pretty open on weekdays. On weekends I host kids birthday parties which are usually only 2 hours and from 12-2 or 2-4 other than that I am free. When it comes to drop in visits I like to follow strictly to pet parents instructions to make sure all expectations are being met with no risk of harm to pets or property.

About: Hi, I’m Jennifer! I offer a safe, loving “home away from home” where your dog is treated like family. I accept drop-ins, boarding and dog walking. For boarding your pup will have constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I have 2 dogs Milo & Ori. Both are 9 years old and are shy and protective so for your pups safety (if boarding) dogs will be separated. Our days include fun backyard playtime, neighborhood walks, and cozy evening couch cuddles. I strictly follow your pet's feeding and medicine schedules to keep their routine normal. You will receive daily photo updates so you can enjoy your trip with peace of mind. I work full time Wednesday - Saturday at my regular job. I am also available to care for your pet all day/overnight on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. I have a medium/large fenced back yard where your dog can roam and sniff around for potty breaks. I live right by the Mohawk-Hudson trail where I can take your pup for long and beautiful nature walks. I also allow dogs on my couch where they can relax.

About: I am everyone’s go to dog sitter.. mostly because they quickly become be best friend.. I am reliable, great with dogs, and treat every dog as if it were my own pet! I currently work from home during the winter months, which leaves me plenty of time to walk/ care for/ and play with your dog ! “***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”
