“Samantha took incredible care of my dog, arriving on time, providing consistent updates and photos that gave me total peace of mind while I was away!! It was clear Griffen was happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Samantha again.”

“Leah was absolutely amazing — incredibly responsive, communicative, and attentive. It was such a relief to feel like I didn’t have to worry about my pup while I was away. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

“Sam was with Laila a couple weeks before she passed, but she was amazing and was so patient with my girl. Sam has a great compassionate way towards animals. You'll feel reassurance and know she takes great care of them. 💕”

“Hailey is great! I am usually late to request and she has never turned me down and she’s great at communicating if something is going on. The cats always seem very content when we return from a trip!”

“Laina took great care of our boys while we were gone for the day. She came to our place to take them out to potty, feed them and took them for a walk during the requested times and she gave them lots of love. She kept us updated and sent us photos. Laina gave peace of mind with our boys while we were away. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Net has been absolutely amazing with our dogs, especially helping us adjust to our new addition to the family. We have a 5-year-old Norwegian Elkhound and a ~5-month-old Norwegian Elkhound, and she has been wonderful with both of them. On the days she walks them, I come home from work to two dogs who are calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. From the very first meeting, they adored her and were immediately comfortable playing and spending time with her. I’m incredibly thankful to have found someone so reliable and kind who has taken the stress of midday walks off my plate. I couldn’t recommend her more highly.”

“Lindsey was an absolute delight. Gave us very clear updates, followed our instructions to a T, and went above and beyond in taking care of Hank while we were out of town. Despite the short notice, she quickly bonded with Hank and was attentive to his needs. She even folded up his blanket into a nice bed and gave him dinner early so we didn’t have to worry about it when we got home. I will definitely ask for her help again soon.”
“Amanda was great! We wanted the dogs to get exercise and be tired and she did just that: played fetch the whole time! She has an Aussie herself so we had no doubts she knew what she was doing. Will definitely book again!”

“Alessia was wonderful with our shy kitty! Willow came out on the second visit and felt confident enough to come out each visit after! We are so happy that she was able to get love and cuddles while we were gone! Alessia was communicative and sent great pictures! Clearly an animal lover and cares about her clients! Will definitely be booking her services again!”

“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”

“I left my nervous cat Squeaky alone in the house when I had to travel to eastern Massachusetts for five days, but I knew I didn't need to worry about a thing. Hannah is a professional and understood exactly what I needed her to do with the electric water fountain and litter box, and a gravity-feed kibble dispenser. She knows how well Squeaky responds to treats, so she hid some around to keep my cat busy sniffing them out. I appreciate Hannah's flexibility with her visit times, too. Highly recommended! Ken.”
“Ava was incredible with our boys! She communicated with us the whole time, played with our cats a lot, and made sure to send plenty of updates while we were away. We felt very comfortable having her watch our cats for a few days, and they definitely appreciated having her spend time with them!”

“Kailey was great with our dogs during the drop in visit. One of our dogs is protective and weary of new people, but he was calm and comfortable with her. We’d definitely hire her again!”

“Shyma was an AMAZING kitty caretaker! He came over to meet my shy kitties in advance, and to learn how to administer my kitty’s inhaler medication, and was a natural. I loved and appreciated the attentiveness of Shyma, from the picture updates and reports, to Shyma’s excellent understanding of how to work with extremely shy cats. Shyma was patient yet determined with my shy crew- and my kitties eventually made friends! I would definitely hire Shyma to cat-sit again. Shyma is extremely personable and an obvious animal-lover. Thank you for everything!”

“Larry was great with our two cats. It was our first time using Rover and I'll definitely be booking him again next time we need someone to watch our cats. All directions were followed and he even helped pickup the hairballs while we were away.”

I have ample experience with training animals, as I trained my two dogs, one whom passed and one who is now 8, on my own and am in the process of training my 2 year old cat. I am skilled in senior animal care, as I grew up with Labrador’s my entire life who required senior and end of life care, such as diapering and mobility. One of my dogs has a chronic illness, which has made me trained in medication management and administration to ensure he remains healthy. My pets are my whole world, so you can know that in my care your pets will never be without attention and love! While I am busy with my own family, I can make myself available any day and any time to give your animals attention and love! As I am the primary caregiver to my child, I will have him with me for walking. However, he will be strapped to my chest in a carrier and unable to directly interact with your pet, unless you tell me it’s okay! I currently live in an apartment, but my dog is walked multiple times a day for extended periods to allow him to explore the world and get some energy out! This would be the same with your pets. Elizabeth took care of my cats as if they were her own. She was an excellent communicator and sent me tons of pictures and videos, so I knew they were in good hands while I was away. Even more amazingly, my one cat is very scared of new people, but he warmed up to her right away. Cats can tell when humans are safe and I am so thankful to know they were given loving time and attention in my absence. I highly recommend and plan to book Elizabeth again for my future cat sitting needs!

Gabby is a warm, kind, thoughtful person. My two kitties liked her right away, and I could tell that she liked them. I felt comfortable and at ease leaving Spunky and Rachel in Gabby’s care. She was very communicative, accommodating, and conscientious throughout the entire pet sitting process. Everything went smoothly, and I did not have any concerns. I am thankful to have found Gabby, and I will be relying on her for future pet sitting.
