About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.

About: I've taken care of my own pets inducing 2 yellow labs, a cat, and two horses (all at once) since I was 10. Family members and neighbors have since relied on me to care for their critters. I grew up with 2 yellow labs, one cat, and now care for a cat of my own (Fio) simultaneously. Taking care of these pets has allowed me to maintain strict routines for each animal in order to care for them individually. I am comfortable staying in your home, following your instructions, and providing appropriate care for your animals as directed. About: I treat all animals as if they are my own ( even the wild ones :') ). I provide my own pets with consistent, routine driven training that keeps them stimulated while also building the bond between us. Whether a cat, dog, or other furry friends, you can count on me to show them the love and care that they deserve. I love taking my dogs for a walk or just sitting and talking with them. Routine training and walking has helped me be successful when I have owned/trained my dogs. Calm, consistent leadership is so important in the dynamic of my animals and I. Both of my dogs are crate trained, walked twice daily to keep their minds stimulated, and PLAYTIME! Lots of playtime throughout the day. I cannot be with my dogs all day so I do need to wear them out sometimes when I know I will be gone for more than 4 hours. On top of general maintenance for the animals, high quality food and bone/joint supplements are provided as well as healthy treats. We try to only bathe when needed but that's usually once a month. Both of my dogs are linked with a vet as well in case of emergency and they are up to date on all their shots and medications to keep them healthy and disease free.
About: I have, of course experience as a pet lover as a young child, merely watching and walking the dogs, feeding and changing litter/ picking up after the dogs. I never fully had responsibility and experience until I adopted my pal Leo. He is a high energy lab retriever and puts me through every step of patience! All in all, it has taught me to be stern and serious when needed, but flip it around to fun and playful as well. My boy knows to respect me and listen when i give a command. I know with my body language and direct nature will ensure your pups and kitties are loved and watched over. I will give your pets the time and attention you allow and ensure that while you are away there is plenty of fun to be had, and plenty of adventure as well :) I will be enrolling in school online at SNHU and will be taking courses at home. I will have afternoons and evenings off, So, plenty of free time for your beloved furry companions. I have experience with all types of dogs, not so much cats, but i am a day by day learner! I take everything into opportunity to gain a new skill. I will ensure your pet feels safe and secure with me, all of their needs will be met so long as they are in my care! :)
“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. Thank you to her again. I am forever grateful for her.”

Samantha was an amazing caregiver to our older, very shy cat, Rambo! Rambo actually came out of hiding when Samantha first visited! Rambo continued to come out for pets every time Samantha dropped by. We loved seeing the pics! Rambo looked so happy & comfortable. We were sure she was going to miss Samantha when we returned! Rambo is a sloppy litter box user, and Samantha did a great job tidying up after her. Our trip was extra enjoyable knowing that Rambo was being looked after by someone as caring and responsible as Samantha.
Elise was a very dedicated sitter! She made sure to get visual confirmation every day that the kitties were doing well. Our kitties are afraid of people and hide but she won them over, with treats of course! She was detail oriented following all of our directions. She provided a thorough description each day along with plenty of photos. It was a delight to see her updates. These put us at ease knowing the kitties were in great hands. I would absolutely book Elise again!
