This was Emma’s first time spending the night with a non-relative and did experience separation anxiety. Catherine was very patient with her and tried different ways to make her feel more comfortable. She took her for a long walk and refocused her energy using a kong filled with treats I provided. She made me aware of her anxiety after she was calm and sent me pictures to assure me she was okay. She also told me not to worry. Emma also had a hard time at bed time but eventually fell asleep on the couch. Emma did better the next day as she was feeling loved!”

Impressed that during our first, introductory meeting, she brought a little pillow of catnip so our cat could get accustomed to the smell of her (with the positive reinforcement of a 'nip buzz). The daily checkin with photo had us reassured, if not occasionally bemused (photographing the beta fish she also fed was easier than the cat, lol) and a lovely touch was her environmental conscientiousness in cleaning and setting aside each metal can of wet cat food for recycling -- a green soul after our own hearts! We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all. Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life. Been boarding and running daycare full time for 10+ years. I have studied dog behaviors, CPR trained, used to train and have spent my life learning dogs. Part of my business is even making pet products like bow ties, bandanas, toys, healthy treats, signs and organic paw wax. I run my boarding and daycare full time. It is what i live every day. I board 7 days a week and run daycare Tues-Fri We have a large dog specific room which daycare is run out of (while boarding your dog can join daycare for no extra cost) this room has a dog door that leads to the large fenced in yard. Once daycare is complete or dog dependent, the door comes open and the pups join our pack (2) snuggling on the couch and begging in the kitchen 😉

She passed in Feb 2019 and will always be in my heart! Ava was born in 2020 and I got her when she was 8 weeks old. About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. About: I’ve owned animals my whole life, but didn’t get into professional animal care till about 2 years ago. Since then I have worked at several daycares and been the Assistant Manager at one! I’ve been around all types of pups from your most nervous dogs to your ultra reactive barkers. I’m always willing to work with you and your dogs! I have plenty of time to see your pups as I work primarily in the morning. I am also very flexible with drop-ins and can do most last minute appointments. DISCLAIMER: I do not stay overnight for my house-sitting requests. I have 5 dogs of my own that while I’d love to bring them with me, I cannot. I am able to be there first thing in the AM and as late as needed in the afternoon. My own pup loves other dogs so if you’re comfortable with your pup having a doggy friend, she is able to tag along! I am comfortable with any necessary oral medication administering, normal feedings, and normal play time with the pups! I am also able to do light training if interested. If needed, I can also do nail trims for an additional price.
