About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.
“Rima was very attentive with the dogs. She sent pictures and videos frequently so that we could see that the dogs were doing well. She spent a lot of time outdoors with them. She cleaned up after their poops. She washed towels and sheets so we came home to a clean house. We would use Rima again. We travel frequently to visit our children.”

About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I started small with hamster and fish, eventually teaching myself to care for larger species through rigorous online teachings and experience. I work part time so that I can spend as much time working with and caring for animals as possible. Ideally taking care of at least 3 pets a day would be best case for me. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my home but I do have the knowledge and experience to crate fur babies when needed without causing them distress. I am familiar with getting animals of all domestic sizes into a state of calm for walks or sleep time or even cuddles after a long day of missing their folks.

About: I’ve taken care of a sick dog and a rabbit for 3 years now on separate occasions when the families go on trips. I always make sure to play with the animals. I currently work full time but am available any time around my scheduled work times! I will work very hard to make sure everything lines up to how it should even with my work schedule. I will make sure that everything is in place when I leave and I will keep the house clean! I will of course also take care of your pets and play with them!

Christina always takes good care of our lab - we’ve used her several times and she’s reliable, gives us updates and photos and allows us to enjoy our vacation knowing she’s there for our dog. She cares and went over and above this time during a bad thunderstorm she comforted our dog who was nervous with the loud storm. When you’re not home for them it’s nice to know someone who cares is there! Definitely recommend Christina for pet sitting.
We felt so comfortable leaving our pup in Cheyenne’s care! Cheyenne went out of her way to make sure our girl was not only safe and cared for, but also had so much fun playing while we were away. We received such great photos and updates while we were gone, and knew our girl was in the best hands. We had so much confidence knowing Cheyenne’s extensive history and experience with animals, which was even more reassuring (our pup has seizures from time to time and takes a daily medication). Cheyenne was also so respectful of our home, and always communicated promptly and professionally. Thank you again, Cheyenne!!
Nicole took such good care of our golden retriever Tanner and tuxedo cat Milo for a week while we were away. She gave them both a lot of attention, took Tanner out on walks and made sure they both received a lot of love and treats. I enjoyed the pictures of both of them each day and I could see they were both happy and enjoying her care. She made sure the house was tidy and picked up after our week away which I greatly appreciated. She is an excellent pet sitter.
Nina was wonderful with our shy boy. She is calm but confident which was perfect for our dog who is not so sure of new people. She communicated often and sent pictures so we could see for ourselves how well he was doing. She left the house clean and even watered my wilting plants. I would have her watch Boomer again anytime.
Laina was so wonderful with my boys! I was so busy while away with training, but she was sure to send me daily updates with photographs. My boys warmed up to her so quick (which is usual for one of them). The house was just as I left it. Laina walking the boys in the yard to make sure they got all their energy out and gave them as much cuddling as they requested. I already have her booked do another stay! She will absolutely be my GO TO for any future trips.
Lauren took such great care of my two dogs and two cats for 6 days and nights while I was away at my daughters wedding out of state. I didn’t have to worry about them at all! She sent me daily pictures and updates. My animals were calm and happy when I arrived home and my litter boxes were spotless! Myia (pronounced my-ee-uh, IPA: /maɪˈiː.ə/) was absolutely incredible. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a Rover sitter who treats your pets like they’re her own. From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly attentive to every detail. She followed all of our instructions to a T, but what really stood out was how much she went beyond the basics. You can tell she genuinely cares. Our pets got real love and attention, not just a quick check-in. We also had a situation with our cat being injured, and Myia handled it with so much calm, patience, and extra care. She kept a close eye, made sure both the cat and our dog were comfortable, and gave us the peace of mind you can’t really put a price on when you’re away. On top of being an excellent sitter, she’s just a genuinely great human with an awesome soul. We feel lucky we found her, and we’ll absolutely be booking with Myia again.
