“Lex was an excellent In-house sitter for our 4 pets while we were away for Christmas Holiday.She lovingly cared for our 2 little 10 yr old dogs and 2 cats that had never been apart from us .She sent updated pics and messages. She made 2 meet and greets prior to our scheduled booking just so the pets could get used to her.She left the house spotless! If it wasn’t for Lex, we could never had gone away for the Holiday. About: I have taken care of dogs, and cats my whole life, I have over 22 years experience. I’m very attentive, I like to keep everything according to their regular routine/schedule, I have a lot of experience with pets who have separation anxiety, medical issues, providing medications, extra care, etc. Patience is key to bonding, and gaining trust with fur babies. I always give fur babies space to come to me since I’m the one in their safe zone, and don’t want them to feel threatened at all. I am a very quiet person, I love to read books, and am currently studying consumer law. I would love to have a meet and greet so clients get the chance to know me, to be able to see from my interaction with your fur babies if I would be a great pick to take care of your pets, along with answering any questions you may have. I tend to ask a lot of questions so I can have all the information I need to be able to take great care of your pets. I also provide status updates to include pictures, videos, etc. during my bookings so clients can feel more at ease knowing their pets are in good hands. I can also provide references if needed. I have a lot of law enforcement clients along with friends of theirs who were referred to me by them. Your pets will always be safe, this is promise I never break. I also love to clean (I’m Asian lol), I take care of the mail, take care of trash/recycling when it needs to be taken out, and brought back in. I always leave the house the way I saw it upon arrival. I also will stay with your babies till you get home so you can see your pets are happy, and healthy, and to be able to see your home is in excellent condition. I don’t mind staying even if it’s past the time since delays can happen from car issues, flight delays, etc. so this way you don’t have to worry about your babies since I will stay till you come home, and answer any questions you may have before I leave, I never charge extra for that since that’s my policy, and anything could happen if I were to leave. About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.

“Ethan is absolutely wonderful! He stayed with my dog while I was out of town for four nights. When I left, my dog was taking an antibiotic that made him lose his appetite. By the time I got home my dog’s appetites was even better than before and he had gained some much needed weight (I had been trying for about a year to get him to gain weight)! Ethan even was sure to clean up my apartment (I.e, swiffered, took out trash, vacuumed) before I came home, which was unnecessary but sooooo appreciated! About: I have been caring for animals since I was a child. I started small with hamster and fish, eventually teaching myself to care for larger species through rigorous online teachings and experience. I work part time so that I can spend as much time working with and caring for animals as possible. Ideally taking care of at least 3 pets a day would be best case for me. I do not have the ability to care for pets in my home but I do have the knowledge and experience to crate fur babies when needed without causing them distress. I am familiar with getting animals of all domestic sizes into a state of calm for walks or sleep time or even cuddles after a long day of missing their folks.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I could remember. I love them so much. Everyone calls me the dog whisperer whenever they need a helping hand with their fur babies. I do charge an additional fee for gas, due to gas prices being so high and the high intake I receive from my guests. I currently work part time but I’m available usually after 9am throughout the week. I do work weekends usually but I can be flexible with stopping in the morning and evenings times for your fur babies. I am temporarily in a transition moving right now, for the Army National Guard. Nicole took such good care of our golden retriever Tanner and tuxedo cat Milo for a week while we were away. She gave them both a lot of attention, took Tanner out on walks and made sure they both received a lot of love and treats. I enjoyed the pictures of both of them each day and I could see they were both happy and enjoying her care. She made sure the house was tidy and picked up after our week away which I greatly appreciated. She is an excellent pet sitter.
Nina was wonderful with our shy boy. She is calm but confident which was perfect for our dog who is not so sure of new people. She communicated often and sent pictures so we could see for ourselves how well he was doing. She left the house clean and even watered my wilting plants. I would have her watch Boomer again anytime.
Laina was so wonderful with my boys! I was so busy while away with training, but she was sure to send me daily updates with photographs. My boys warmed up to her so quick (which is usual for one of them). The house was just as I left it. Laina walking the boys in the yard to make sure they got all their energy out and gave them as much cuddling as they requested. I already have her booked do another stay! Lauren took such great care of my two dogs and two cats for 6 days and nights while I was away at my daughters wedding out of state. I didn’t have to worry about them at all! Myia (pronounced my-ee-uh, IPA: /maɪˈiː.ə/) was absolutely incredible. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a Rover sitter who treats your pets like they’re her own. From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly attentive to every detail. She followed all of our instructions to a T, but what really stood out was how much she went beyond the basics. You can tell she genuinely cares. Our pets got real love and attention, not just a quick check-in. We also had a situation with our cat being injured, and Myia handled it with so much calm, patience, and extra care. She kept a close eye, made sure both the cat and our dog were comfortable, and gave us the peace of mind you can’t really put a price on when you’re away. On top of being an excellent sitter, she’s just a genuinely great human with an awesome soul. We feel lucky we found her, and we’ll absolutely be booking with Myia again.
