I’ve always had a love for animals - and especially cats! I grew up volunteering at animal shelters, working to help socialize both cats and dogs to help them get adopted faster. I started formally cat sitting for friends a few years ago, and it has revitalized my love for taking care of animals. It would be a pleasure to help you with your pet fam!

In my experience with cat/dog sitting, I am used to preparing meals, cleaning litter boxes, going on walks, changing water, and play time- in addition to never ending head scratches and belly rubs!

Myia (pronounced my-ee-uh, IPA: /maɪˈiː.ə/) was absolutely incredible. I would 1000% recommend her to anyone looking for a Rover sitter who treats your pets like they’re her own. From the start, she was communicative, reliable, and clearly attentive to every detail. She followed all of our instructions to a T, but what really stood out was how much she went beyond the basics. You can tell she genuinely cares. Our pets got real love and attention, not just a quick check-in. We also had a situation with our cat being injured, and Myia handled it with so much calm, patience, and extra care. She kept a close eye, made sure both the cat and our dog were comfortable, and gave us the peace of mind you can’t really put a price on when you’re away. On top of being an excellent sitter, she’s just a genuinely great human with an awesome soul. We feel lucky we found her, and we’ll absolutely be booking with Myia again.
We couldn't be happier with our decision of booking with Myia. We were gone for 11 days and didn't really want to kennel our super anxious chiweenie Fred for that long, so we decided to try the housesitting option through Rover. Myia did an amazing job keeping an eye on our apartment as well as taking care of the forementioned Fred. I know that really helped him as opposed to being kenneled by himself for almost 2 weeks. We highly recommend Myia, and will be looking to her for assistance again in the (very near) future.

Schedule
I will mostly be available afternoons and weekends. I currently work part time with some telecommuting days. Happy to come by before or after work, or stay with your pet fam on days I telework!
