About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats for my entire life. After losing my beloved shihtzu 2 years ago I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. I foster pets, dogsit/housesit board and walk dogs and I have a flexible schedule. I love dogs of all sizes but I only have space in my own home for dogs under 20lbs. I am available to do home checks and midday walks. I am available for overnights or weekends stays. I will of course follow your rules for whether pets are allowed on the furniture but as far as I am concerned, your pets are family and in my home they can go anywhere that I can go! If you’re looking for someone calm, dependable and responsible, look no further! I have a flexible schedule and can be available for midday walks, dinner, enrichment, and overnights. I love field trips and fun adventures with your pup and can also just hang out if they need companionship. I do not have any pets of my own so that I can dedicate my time to pet sitting and fostering. This enables me to host small pets in my home or to stay with pets for extended periods such as vacations.

As a dog owner who has grown up with, taken care of rescues and purebreds, and raised rescues my whole life, I have seen the full spectrum of dog personalities and recognize that they all need to be treated with utmost respect and kindness, and treated differently based on what works best for their personalities, as well as their owners preference. Ultimately, I would treat any animal the way that I would treat my own furbabies, and however you would want your animal to be treated! I don't believe in using cellphones or devices around them unless it is calling for an emergency, and my full attention will be on taking care of them at all times.

About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.
