About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats for my entire life. After losing my beloved shihtzu 6 years ago I decided I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. I foster pets, dogsit/housesit board and walk dogs and I have a flexible schedule. I love dogs of all sizes but I only have space in my own home for dogs under 20lbs. I am available to do home checks and midday walks. I am available for overnights or weekends stays. I will of course follow your rules for whether pets are allowed on the furniture but as far as I am concerned, your pets are family and in my home they can go anywhere that I can go! If you’re looking for someone calm, dependable and responsible, look no further! I have a flexible schedule and can be available for midday walks, dinner, enrichment, and overnights. I love field trips and fun adventures with your pup and can also just hang out if they need companionship. I do not have any pets of my own so that I can dedicate my time to pet sitting and fostering. This enables me to host small pets in my home or to stay with pets for extended periods such as vacations.

About: My whole life I’ve just loved animals. I’ve always had pets. I was the one in my family that pet sat when they went away. About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.

She was easily able to handle providing medication and special nutritional needs for our two older girls, as well as, keeping our younger guy busy with plenty of playtime. Steph sent plenty of pictures each day along with a detailed recap of each visit. When we were delayed 2 days getting home from our trip she was happy to extend our agreement to help us out of the jam. I would recommend to anyone needing care for their animals… as long as we don’t need her first!
This was my first time using Rover and Lauren helped walk me through the process and put me at ease. Lauren took wonderful care of my cats. She sent me updates each visit and plenty of pictures. What particularly impressed me though was my [typically] more shy cat really came around and was curious about her. Seems like my cats were impressed, too.
