About: Hello, I'm Jenna! I have always been passionate about animals and have years of experience in animal welfare. I previously worked full-time at the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, where I became Fear Free Shelters certified and completed training to join the animal response team. Prior to this, I volunteered for two years at the La Plata County Humane Society, where I walked dogs of all sizes and cared for cats. I have both worked and volunteered with farm animals. I completed the Animal Law, Ethics, and Enforcement micro credential at Hudson Valley Community College. I currently have one kitty, named Fred, who is about 3 years old. He is the sweetest of cats and I have trained him to respond to some basic commands. We are still working on leash training! I also grew up caring for my family's two chihuahuas, Cocoa and Rascal. I love all animals and look forward to the opportunity to care for your beloved pets! Privately insured through Pet Sitters Associates for your peace of mind. “I couldn’t recommend Net (Stephanie B) anymore! We went away for a few days for thanksgiving and left her with our 2 dogs, 3 cats, lizard, and chickens and she was absolutely fantastic. She followed our feeding walking directions perfectly and had excellent communication. Our house was left nicer than we left it and our pups were clearly happy and well taken care of. She even made sure to give them a walk before we got home so we could unpack and relax. Don’t hesitate, book Net!”

About: I have 2 dogs at home back in Austin, one since late 2012, the other since early 2016. I've always gotten along well with dogs. I've found that most of them are very perceptive to who dog people are and they basically always recognize that in me. My dogs back in Austin helped me get through the day. Other than going to school at Hudson Valley Community College, there hopefully shouldn't be any scheduling conflicts. I try to make sure my dogs get enough attention, and usually we can count on each other for emotional support when they wouldn't prefer to spend time with the other members of my family.

“Lauren stayed with our dog while we were away for a few days. She is very nice, prompt, and professional. She sent pictures and kept us updated while we were gone. We came home to a happy dog. We got back later than we expected due to airline issues and she was very accommodating by staying until we got home. I highly recommend her.”

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a child, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving them the care they deserve. During the week I usually get home from work around 4pm, so I'm available for late afternoon or evening visits. I'm generally around on weekends and holidays. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress or aggression. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.
