About: Hi, I’m Jennifer! I offer a safe, loving “home away from home” where your dog is treated like family. I accept drop-ins, boarding and dog walking. For boarding your pup will have constant supervision, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention. I have 2 dogs Milo & Ori. Both are 9 years old and are shy and protective so for your pups safety (if boarding) dogs will be separated. Our days include fun backyard playtime, neighborhood walks, and cozy evening couch cuddles. I strictly follow your pet's feeding and medicine schedules to keep their routine normal. You will receive daily photo updates so you can enjoy your trip with peace of mind. I work full time Wednesday - Saturday at my regular job. I am also available to care for your pet all day/overnight on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. I have a medium/large fenced back yard where your dog can roam and sniff around for potty breaks. I live right by the Mohawk-Hudson trail where I can take your pup for long and beautiful nature walks. I also allow dogs on my couch where they can relax.
About: Having grown up with cats and dogs, I recently spent a couple of years on a horse farm caring for horses, cows, chickens, large dogs, and barn cats. From feeding and bathing to administering medicine, I've spent years with animals. I love meeting new pets and learning about them. I look forward to making memories with these new pets and hopefully making pet parents’ day a little easier. I’m currently a senior in high school but I only have 3 classes from 10-12:30 making my schedule pretty open on weekdays. On weekends I host kids birthday parties which are usually only 2 hours and from 12-2 or 2-4 other than that I am free. When it comes to drop in visits I like to follow strictly to pet parents instructions to make sure all expectations are being met with no risk of harm to pets or property.

I provide my own pets with consistent, routine driven training that keeps them stimulated while also building the bond between us. Whether a cat, dog, or other furry friends, you can count on me to show them the love and care that they deserve. I love taking my dogs for a walk or just sitting and talking with them. Routine training and walking has helped me be successful when I have owned/trained my dogs. Calm, consistent leadership is so important in the dynamic of my animals and I. Both of my dogs are crate trained, walked twice daily to keep their minds stimulated, and PLAYTIME! Lots of playtime throughout the day. I cannot be with my dogs all day so I do need to wear them out sometimes when I know I will be gone for more than 4 hours. On top of general maintenance for the animals, high quality food and bone/joint supplements are provided as well as healthy treats. We try to only bathe when needed but that's usually once a month. Both of my dogs are linked with a vet as well in case of emergency and they are up to date on all their shots and medications to keep them healthy and disease free.

“***FIRST TIME ROVER USER**** When my normal sitter became unavailable, unexpectantly, I had no idea what to do. I was at the point of not going away on my vacation because it was about a week away from leaving. This was my first time using Rover, and my anxiety was through the roof about the entire process and the idea of a stranger coming into my home. I chose Marybeth primarily based upon location, her photos of her and her pets and her age/experience. Upon meeting Marybeth, her overall kindness and genuine, sweet, friendly personality put me at ease immediately. She listened attentively to what my needs were and my animals routines, without trying to change or judge anything. She was promptly responsive to all of my communication prior to leaving for my trip and the duration as well. When meeting (2) of my (3) fur babies kitties (only because 1 is a scaredy cat and won't come out for anyone really), you could tell immediately that she has a love of cats and taking care of them appropriately and lovingly. I left instructions for her and she followed all of my requests (even non animal related, like bringing in my mail and checking on my refrigerator door that pops open). She was even kind enough to check on my hamster even though that was not part of the animals requested to watch. Every day while I was gone, she was on time, left me a happy little note about the status of everything and pictures of all my babies. Personally, the fear/worry/anxiety about leaving my babies as well as just someone coming in my home was enormous, and Marybeth really put that to ease for me. (I know I already mentioned that, but I figured for anyone reading this, who is on the fence about hiring through Rover). I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, kind, sweet person to take care of your precious family members while you are away. She even returned my key promptly upon my return. We are so happy to have found Nicole! She is the first sitter we ever used to come to our home instead of bringing our pup Ripley somewhere for sleepovers while we were away, which I was initially super anxious about. However, from the meet and greet you can tell how she genuinely loves pets, and our quirky anxious dog warmed up to her immediately. Even our cranky alien cat went right up to her. We just used Nicole for the second time, and Ripley again was so relaxed with her. Lots of cute photos and good communication. We will absolutely book her again and again!
Samantha was an amazing caregiver to our older, very shy cat, Rambo! Rambo actually came out of hiding when Samantha first visited! Rambo continued to come out for pets every time Samantha dropped by. We loved seeing the pics! Rambo looked so happy & comfortable. We were sure she was going to miss Samantha when we returned! Rambo is a sloppy litter box user, and Samantha did a great job tidying up after her. Our trip was extra enjoyable knowing that Rambo was being looked after by someone as caring and responsible as Samantha.
Elise was a very dedicated sitter! She made sure to get visual confirmation every day that the kitties were doing well. Our kitties are afraid of people and hide but she won them over, with treats of course! She was detail oriented following all of our directions. She provided a thorough description each day along with plenty of photos. It was a delight to see her updates. These put us at ease knowing the kitties were in great hands. I would absolutely book Elise again!
