About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I personally trained all of them, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding dog behavior, especially with independent or energetic breeds like dachshunds. Throughout middle school and my teen years, I helped neighbors by dog sitting, walking, and doing drop-in visits, often just for playtime and companionship. One of the dogs I cared for regularly was a sweet senior named Duke, who I’d take outside and spend time with while his owner was away. These experiences taught me how to adapt my care for both high-energy pups and older dogs who need a gentler, more patient approach. In addition to my pet care experience, I am also a dancer, choreographer, and educator. I also have years of experience caring for cats—both my family’s and now my own sweet cat, Tom. About: I am efficient in caring/walking dogs of all sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and I’m comfortable with caring for pets. I am reliable and attentive, and willing to follow the instructions given by the owners to make sure the animals are set and well cared for! I am currently working part-time. I am available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday anytime after 1:30 PM. Mondays, I am available 9 AM to 12 PM. Friday Fridays, I can be flexible. When caring for pets in other people’s homes, I will follow the instructions left out by the owner to make sure all the needs are met.
