“Kelly was fantastic dropping in on our two pugs! She was quick to respond to messages and sent great photos with the rover cards after each visit. I felt very at ease leaving our dogs under her care. We came home to two very happy dogs. Will absolutely use again!!”

“Really appreciated Alie's visits. Was a first trying Rover for a one week trip. Alie sent pics daily and followed instructions well. She even won over our shy kitty:)”

“Michelle was amazing! She took good care of our boy and provided detailed notes from each visit! Highly recommend Michelle and will certainly book with her again in the future.”

About: Hello!! My name is Haley ! I am 23 years old and I have owned/ took care of many different dogs and cats all of my life. From poodles to labs, and from russian blues to siamese, I grown to love them all. Early on this love allowed me to learn many skills including grooming, feeding, play time for every age, medication administration, and more! Over a year ago, I took on the special task of adopting my first behaviorally reactive dog named Coco, who is a 4 year old mini australian shepherd who has taught me so much more about caring for an animal with needs. Whether that be more spacial awareness on walks, training commands and structure, or more attention to intentional bonding, my dog skills have massively grown through my relationship with her. Due to her reactive tendencies, I was able to work alongside dog trainers at her training facility Unleash Fido in Jacksonville, FL to learn more about what an animal needs, even if it’s for a simple walk!! Outside of my love for animals, I am a stay at home wife for my navy husband Patric! I was a dance teacher and choreographer for years, as well as a world level powerlifter competing for Team USA in 2024!!! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and i hope to meet your fur baby soon !! I am a stay at home wife at the moment, so my availability is completely open to care for your pets ! Due to this open schedule, I completely open to same day bookings and quick to accept them :) Due to my open schedule, I would love to accommodate to any rules/ preferences you need for caring for your pet inside your home. As for boarding, my husband and I are currently finishing off our fence to provide plenty of area for safe play outside !! Inside the home we have a fully dog proof home, as we ensure the safety of our own dog Coco. If your pet is reactive to other animals, we are willing to board our own dog with friends in order to make a safe environment for your pup or cat !!! We are able to crate as well if needed, and personally have the schedule to accommodate to any support your pet needs in our home or at yours !!!!
About: I am someone who has truly connected with animals of all breeds and sizes since a young age. I work at a pet boarding resort caring for dogs, cats etc. I love my job and I look forward to continuing in pet care!🐾🩷 My work schedule varies week to week. I am always available early morning, early afternoon, and in the evening. I am always open to discussion! 🐾☀️ Our pets are family in our house. Keeping your pet safe, comfortable and happy is my number one goal. I am here to accommodate you and your fur baby! 🐾🩷

About: I’ve been a dog sitter and dog walker since I was 10 years old, taking care of some of my neighbors’ dogs. My love of dogs and experience has only grown throughout my life. I have 2 dogs of my own, and have babysat and walked countless dogs since for family & friends. I work remote so I have a very flexible schedule. I already use my free time to give my own dogs a great life and I’d love to do the same for people without as much free time as I. For drop in visits I can let them outside (permitted you have a fenced in yard). We can play a little indoors and outdoors. I can crate them when I go, if this is something you do. If you already have food somewhere prepared, whether fresh or kibble, I can even feed them so you don’t stress about them missing a meal. They’ll get plenty of pets and love.

“She's been so reliable and punctual and keeps in touch about everything! Even extra photos!! Thrilled with Sabrina! And my dogs are tired out at the end of day thanks to their mid day exercise!”
About: I’ve had over 13 years of experience caring for dogs, both my own and for others. Over the years, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages. My experience includes daily walks, feeding routines, exercise and enrichment, basic training reinforcement, administering medications when needed, and making sure each dog feels safe and loved while their owner is away. I always aim to provide care that feels familiar and stress-free for your pets! I have a flexible schedule and a lot of availability, so I’m able to prioritize pet care in my daily routine. The only times I may have limited availability are during weeks when I have my college program, but even then I do my best to stay flexible and communicate clearly in advance! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I maintain their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow instructions closely to keep their care consistent and reliable. I aim to provide a calm, trustworthy experience for both you and your pet!
“We had a wonderful first experience using Rover with Faith. She took great care of our cat while we were away, providing plenty of attention, treats, and litter box care. We especially appreciated the daily updates and photos, and were impressed by how quickly our cat warmed up to her. It gave us peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. We would book with her again!”

“I cannot say enough about how great Sam was with our fur-babies. She really took the time with them and made our going away super stress free for us and them. We don’t go away often but will definitely look to use Sam again and will recommend and sing her praises to whoever will listen. Thank you so much Sam!!! I cannot say enough how much we appreciate you!!!”

“After a meet and greet last week, Morgan dropped in this weekend to see Luna, our 8 yr old Lab. She arrived right on time, fed her, and took her outside. Morgan texted when she got there, when she left and also to tell us how Luna did - along with a picture. When we got home Luna was very happy. Luna is blind and Morgan did great with her. I’m looking forward to having Morgan back again.”

Caitlynn was awesome - our dog took to her instantly! You can tell she is a real animal lover. Caitlynn also took the time to get to know our dog and review her care instructions. She was right on time with her visits, communicated with us, and sent us pictures. Our dog was well cared for. We definitely recommend Caitlynn and we will be booking her again!
Lydia was absolutely amazing! This was my first time using Rover so I was nervous, but Lydia was very responsive, available on short notice which I really appreciated, incredibly affordable, and sent photos of our babies every time she was there for a check in. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
