About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 5 years old, when I got my very first dachshunds—Peanut and Sweetie. By the time I was 9, I had adopted a shelter dachshund and raised two more dachshund puppies, bringing my total to five dogs at once. I also have years of experience caring for cats—both my family’s and now my own sweet cat, Tom. Since those two, my pet family expanded to a Yellow Lab, a rescue mutt (Australian Kelpie), a Hound mix, an Australian Shepherd-Pitbull mix, a Great Dane, a Pomeranian, a three-legged rescue dog, three horses, five goats, two pigs, three mini horses, and a cat.
