About: I’ve had animals since I was a young girl. As a child we had cats. As a young adult I worked for a grooming, daycare, and boarding facility for 16 years. The only reason I stopped working was because of the birth of might twins.I also volunteered for a pet rescue, a pet shelter, and of course owned my own dogs, cats, and hamster. I’m a mom of 7! Some grown , some in college, and my youngest 2 are 9 year old twins. I have plenty of time during the days to walk, spend time, cuddle, and love on your furry family members. My specialty is mid day breaks/walks or check ins while you’re away or have a long day at work. I am aware of the tremendous responsibility it is caring for your pet. I have my own pups and kitties and will give the same love, care, and respect my babies receive.
“We were lucky to connect with Jack through Rover; he dropped in and cared for our dogs and cat throughout our summer vacation. Jack was super nice during our meet and greet- very clearly showing his love and knowledge for animals! We appreciated the updates when he stopped over to care for our critters and we knew they were in good hands!”

About: I’ve been a dog sitter and dog walker since I was 10 years old, taking care of some of my neighbors’ dogs. My love of dogs and experience has only grown throughout my life. I have 2 dogs of my own, and have babysat and walked countless dogs since for family & friends. I work remote so I have a very flexible schedule. I already use my free time to give my own dogs a great life and I’d love to do the same for people without as much free time as I. For drop in visits I can let them outside (permitted you have a fenced in yard). We can play a little indoors and outdoors. I can crate them when I go, if this is something you do. If you already have food somewhere prepared, whether fresh or kibble, I can even feed them so you don’t stress about them missing a meal. They’ll get plenty of pets and love.
“Maria is the most dependable dog sitter we have ever had. She is attentive to detail, great communicator, and very caring. We have rebooked her many times and will continue to do so.”

“I have said it before and I'll set it again, faith is the best cat sitter ever. Really. She is more than a cat sitter. She's a good friend and carer for my beloved Morgan.”

“Cassandra is wonderful. Not only did she adjust our scheduled times due to an illness that delayed our plans, she also then had to drive on some snowy roads to take care of our two dogs because of that delay. Thank you for your help this week Cassandra!”

About: Hey everyone! 👋 I'm a 25 year old pet lover who's been around animals my whole life. From growing up with dogs, cats, and even the odd pets, I've always been the one taking care of our family pets. I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe, and loved while their owners are away. I'm offering pet sitting services (dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight stays, etc.) and would love to help out with yours! I'm reliable, patient, and attentive. I can send updates and photos while you're gone so you have peace of mind. If you're local and need a trustworthy sitter, feel free to message me. I'd be happy to chat and meet your pets beforehand. Thanks so much! 🐶🐱❤️ I do work full time at a bank job! So I do have those bankers hours but I would be 100% available for your animals when not at work! I can easily follow the normal of your animals routine. If they love rides I have a backseat sling and we can go to parks or for pupcups.

“Haley has been wonderful with my puppy, Gus! It's such a relief knowing he's in good hands while I'm at work. She's reliable, communicates well, sends updates, and always makes sure he gets plenty of potty time and play. It's clear she genuinely cares about him, and he's extremely comfortable with her. I highly recommend Haley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

About: I’ve been the primary care taker of my dog. I have also dog sat multiple times for 4 different dogs, three of which are in the same household. I’m currently working part-time at tacobell, and I’m still in high-school, but for the summer I am mainly working from around 930/10 to about 5/530, this will definitely change when school starts back up though! I would like to work more at other peoples houses due to my own dog being territorial.. I can take the dogs out for walks (Maybe take them on a trail if that’s alright) or I can let them into the backyard if that’s what is preferred. I will also pick up the dog’s poop (I’ll bring my own poop bags and will throw it away in the outside garbage can).

About: I’ve also enjoyed introducing puppies to the world around them, helping them navigate new environments, socialize with other dogs, and build confidence in their surroundings. Every day starts with a tail-wagging wake-up call and ends with snuggles on the couch. From morning walks to bedtime cuddles, my furry friend is the heartbeat of my daily routine. Whether it’s mealtime antics or playtime shenanigans, every moment is an adventure filled with love and laughter. every day is a reminder of the joy that comes with being a pet parent. Ensuring the safety of your beloved furry companions is my top priority on every walk. With a watchful eye and a firm grip on the leash, I navigate our paths with caution and care. From avoiding busy streets to steering clear of potential hazards, rest assured, your dogs are in good hands. With a keen sense of awareness and a commitment to their well-being, every step we take together is filled with peace of mind and wagging tails.

About: My house has been full of pets for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three cats of my own, both indoor and outdoor, as well as several family members dogs, including Cocker Spaniels and a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I was also fortunate enough to spend time around neighborhood dogs that became a big part of my childhood. Over the years, my family has cared for many cats. We currently have six indoor cats ranging in age from nine years to six months. Every one of them was taken in as a stray when they were less than a month old, and we raised them ourselves. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spend years helping neighbors with their dogs. I have regularly babysat, boarded, and walked dogs of various breeds, including a Goldendoodle and a Jack Russell Terrier. Being surrounded by so many different animals has taught me how to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. Pets have always been an important part of my life, and the experience I have gained caring for them has given me a deep appreciation for the responsibility, patients, and companionship that come with animal care. I am home for college for the summer (June-August), so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am available to help out at you and your pets convince. I have a secluded backyard along with a large, walkable neighborhood and fields and trails within walking distance. There are cats inside the house and dogs in neighboring yards. I am happy to provide your dog with its own, cat-free room if it's preferred.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and just the past few years started pet sitting! The families I sit for always know they can rely on me and loving their animals! I’m currently working part time at a salon but it is flexible and can stop by every 2-4 hours! I also am willing to do over nights depending on location might affect price! “I booked Elaina to do a drop In visit for my 10 week old puppy and my 8 month old puppy. She cleaned up the pee on the floor, let out my two older dogs and stayed over a half an hour to get my stubborn 8 months old puppy back in her kennel. I will definitely be booking again, if she is still willing to accept us after today’s events.”

“After a meet and greet last week, Morgan dropped in this weekend to see Luna, our 8 yr old Lab. She arrived right on time, fed her, and took her outside. Morgan texted when she got there, when she left and also to tell us how Luna did - along with a picture. When we got home Luna was very happy. Luna is blind and Morgan did great with her. I’m looking forward to having Morgan back again.”

About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!
“My 70lb Olde English Bulldogge is very strong. He loves to jump on people and is pretty strong. Sometimes he doesn’t know his own strength. Ashley was great with him. She took him around the neighborhood and made sure he pooped, peed and had his daily exercise twice a day. She also washed his bowl before every feeding per our request and also provided him his brita water. She also, kept our place like how it was when we left. Our dog seemed to like her and wasn’t stressed out when we got home. He was very happy. She also sent us pictures and communicated very well. Overall, I would recommend and hire her again.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
