No dogs will be just let out. They will be walked , played with and brought out to run. If you have me care for your cat, I will always spend time caring for your cat. About: I’m a beginner on Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs for about 6 years through friends and family, and it’s something I truly love doing. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs with all kinds of personalities, high-energy pups, shy dogs, older dogs, and everything in between, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs. I also have a 10-year-old dog of my own, which has given me a lot of hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and understanding how dogs communicate. He’s a bit odd and thrives when he’s kept to his routine. He loves people but there are a few dogs in my neighborhood who he has decided he'd rather avoid so I’m familiar with sticking to a routine and dealing with each dog's unique quirks! It is important to me that every pet feels safe and comfortable. While I’ve never owned a cat myself, I’ve taken care of a few and really enjoyed the experience. I’m always happy to learn their routines and make sure they feel just as cared for and relaxed while you’re away. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by making sure your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work full time as a Medical Assistant at a Private Family Practice. I’m applying to Physician Assistant School this spring and am working to get experience while I finish my applications. My hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. I don’t have time during my work day to stop in to let pets out or feed them and am best suited to do walks, feedings, and keep company in the early morning or evenings. My weekends are typically open and flexible as I am able to stay at the house all day but prefer to drop by several times throughout the day for whatever care is necessary. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities while staying in your home. I make it a point to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s behavior, boundaries, and personality to ensure they feel safe and respected. I’m very attentive and always keep a close eye on pets, whether we’re relaxing at home or out for a walk. I also make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are secure at all times. I respect your home just as much as your pet. I keep things clean, organized, and exactly how you left them. Communication is very important to me, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you’re away so you always know how your pet is doing. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine attention, and that your home will be in good hands.
“As always, it was a great experience having you care for my kitties, Louie and Loco. Thank you so much. It makes a world of difference having someone you can trust to watch over your fur babies:)) They say thank you 😊”

“Lila was wonderful with Snickers. She was very prompt and did everything I asked with his crazy senior dog behaviors. She’s sweet and loves dogs, it’s obvious with her interaction when she met my dog. It was also quite a last-minute booking, and she really helped us out that way.”

“Angela treated our kitties so well and went above and beyond to be communicative with us and send detailed updates. Our kitties were in such a happy mood when we arrived home. We would definitely call Angela again next time we head out of town and feel at ease knowing they are in good hands🥰”

“Jillian was a true wonder!! I felt completely at ease with her care for my two cats. She showered a ton caring and affection on them, and really seemed to get their complicated feline dynamics! My kitty Jojo needs asthma treatment and Jill was at ease with administering (: She navigated his moods - and dealt with catio stressors - like a pro, and with good humor, and kept in close communication with me through it all! Highly recommend- if you want someone who both enjoys and "gets" your pets!”

About: Hello!! My name is Haley ! I am 23 years old and I have owned/ took care of many different dogs and cats all of my life. From poodles to labs, and from russian blues to siamese, I grown to love them all. Early on this love allowed me to learn many skills including grooming, feeding, play time for every age, medication administration, and more! Over a year ago, I took on the special task of adopting my first behaviorally reactive dog named Coco, who is a 4 year old mini australian shepherd who has taught me so much more about caring for an animal with needs. Whether that be more spacial awareness on walks, training commands and structure, or more attention to intentional bonding, my dog skills have massively grown through my relationship with her. Due to her reactive tendencies, I was able to work alongside dog trainers at her training facility Unleash Fido in Jacksonville, FL to learn more about what an animal needs, even if it’s for a simple walk!! Outside of my love for animals, I am a stay at home wife for my navy husband Patric! I was a dance teacher and choreographer for years, as well as a world level powerlifter competing for Team USA in 2024!!! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me, and i hope to meet your fur baby soon !! I am a stay at home wife at the moment, so my availability is completely open to care for your pets ! Due to this open schedule, I completely open to same day bookings and quick to accept them :) Due to my open schedule, I would love to accommodate to any rules/ preferences you need for caring for your pet inside your home. As for boarding, my husband and I are currently finishing off our fence to provide plenty of area for safe play outside !! Inside the home we have a fully dog proof home, as we ensure the safety of our own dog Coco. If your pet is reactive to other animals, we are willing to board our own dog with friends in order to make a safe environment for your pup or cat !!! We are able to crate as well if needed, and personally have the schedule to accommodate to any support your pet needs in our home or at yours !!!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Malta. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
