I am also willing to accommodate if needed. I will do what I need to do to ensure yourself and your pet feel comfortable and do what your pet is used too in there routine and comfortable with.If this is a puppy I will help crate and potty train if needed. I do have experience with all sorts of dogs large or small. And cats as well!

About: I’m a beginner on Rover, but I’ve been caring for dogs for about 6 years through friends and family, and it’s something I truly love doing. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs with all kinds of personalities, high-energy pups, shy dogs, older dogs, and everything in between, so I’m very comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs. I also have a 10-year-old dog of my own, which has given me a lot of hands-on experience with daily care, routines, and understanding how dogs communicate. He’s a bit odd and thrives when he’s kept to his routine. He loves people but there are a few dogs in my neighborhood who he has decided he'd rather avoid so I’m familiar with sticking to a routine and dealing with each dog's unique quirks! It is important to me that every pet feels safe and comfortable. While I’ve never owned a cat myself, I’ve taken care of a few and really enjoyed the experience. I’m always happy to learn their routines and make sure they feel just as cared for and relaxed while you’re away. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away by making sure your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I currently work full time as a Medical Assistant at a Private Family Practice. I’m applying to Physician Assistant School this spring and am working to get experience while I finish my applications. My hours are 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. I don’t have time during my work day to stop in to let pets out or feed them and am best suited to do walks, feedings, and keep company in the early morning or evenings. My weekends are typically open and flexible as I am able to stay at the house all day but prefer to drop by several times throughout the day for whatever care is necessary. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities while staying in your home. I make it a point to follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care instructions, so they feel secure and stress-free in their familiar environment. I take the time to learn each pet’s behavior, boundaries, and personality to ensure they feel safe and respected. I’m very attentive and always keep a close eye on pets, whether we’re relaxing at home or out for a walk. I also make sure doors, gates, and any potential hazards are secure at all times. I respect your home just as much as your pet. I keep things clean, organized, and exactly how you left them. Communication is very important to me, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins while you’re away so you always know how your pet is doing. You can trust that your pet will be cared for with patience, kindness, and genuine attention, and that your home will be in good hands.

I provide dependable drop-in visits with feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and companionship. I can also administer medication when needed and am experienced with special care, including insulin injections. I understand that every cat has a different personality. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or needs extra attention, I respect their boundaries and follow your instructions carefully. I’ll treat your home respectfully, follow your cat’s routine, and provide photo updates so you can enjoy your time away with greater peace of mind. I serve Guilderland and nearby areas, including parts of Schenectady, Rotterdam, Albany, and Niskayuna, depending on distance and availability. Evening and weekend visits are welcome! I offer cat drop-in visits on weekdays, in the evenings, and on weekends, depending on my schedule. I’m generally home by 2:30–3:00 PM most weekdays and can often accommodate afternoon and evening visits. Weekend availability is also possible with advance notice. I have owned many animals including but not limited too dogs and cats Animals are our best friends and give us love we don’t always get from people. I will be very flexible for all your pet care needs for short and extended absences. My animals are fed twice a day with multiple time a day potty breaks. I use wood pellets for cat litter as it’s better on the environment and my cat’s lungs. The yard is picked up multiple times a week for feces. I have a fenced in yard and open area that I have ecollar trained my dog to use for more exercise. Depending on your schedule I would be happy to work around my pets schedule so they get fed bathroom breaks and exercise that you request.
