I have been petsitting on Rover for 3 years now and enjoy my work and learn even more with every pup and kitty filled month! Before joining Rover, I cared for my pug, Elvis, for 13 years who had several disabilities, including severe breathing issues and seizures. I am very well equipped to handle pets with many different needs. I have also interned at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, so I have hands-on experience with many types of dogs. I petsit frequently (and enthusiastically!) for cats as well and love them just as much! ***Prices have raised beginning August 2024 in accordance with changes in market. Safety, trust & environment
I require an in-person, in-home meet and greet before booking in order to view the environment and determind if I am a good fit for your pet. This helps to ensure that we can enjoy a safe stay together! During a drop-in or a house sitting stay, I will feed your pets their daily meals, administer any medications, take them out for potty breaks, and, of course, give them the pets, play time, love and nurturing they need!

Kara is great. She managed to get my very skittish cat to come out from under the bed for proof of life pictures! She’s extremely reliable and consistently sent updates while we were away. Highly recommend having Kara watch your pets. I feel better knowing she’s checking on them.

Kara has cared my cat on several occassions, and I always have peace of mind when I leave my cat in her care. Kara always shows up on time and knows exactly how to care my scared little fur baby. This past visit my cat came out from under the bed to greet Kara who sat on the floor to let her sniff and get comfortable. Kara even sent me photos so I could see this remarkable exchange. Since my cat is a senior who needs to take pills but is fussy about who can give her the pills, Kara does a terrific job placing the pills inside some soft treats so my cat will eat them. If you’re looking for a reliable cat whisperer, Kara is a great sitter!

Schedule
My schedule is very open and I am available most days and nights for petsitting, though I would advise to request a booking at least a few weeks in advance so we can schedule a meet & greet and determine if I’m a good fit for your pets! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends :)
