“We were brand new Rover users but came here when two of our normal options (boarding and a dog-loving friend) werent available for a quick weekend trip away. I found Marlow’s profile and and based on their reviews thought I’d give them a shot - and after our first experience, have already booked them for a second weekend away. It was a great decision for our slightly neurotic 70lb dog. Marlow came over to meet us/him before watching him and between that and their messages we were totally at ease. They sent great updates (and photos!) and our pup seemed totally at ease. They were also super accommodating when out weekend plans changed twice leading up to that Friday. Truthfully, as long as they are able and willing, I feel like we’re likely to continue using Marlow. Our dog is happiest at home and Marlow was great with him. I’ve volunteered at a dog shelter, cared for my own dog Missy for 9 years, and worked part-time at Camp Bow Wow (located in Bound Brook, NJ). About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have had pets my whole life and have gained the nickname Dr. Doolittle because of how good I am with all types of animals! I have always been a natural at caretaking for animals and kids. I have experience working with behavioral and nervous dogs as well as all sizes of dogs. I am currently a full-time graduate student studying special education and literacy. On weekdays I am student-teaching during school day hours (7am-3pm) and on weekends I am typically busy doing homework! Over the summer I work as a teaching assistant where my hours are 8:30am-2:30pm on weekdays. On the weekends I am able to spend the majority of the time caring for pets, often hanging out with them and doing homework, and taking breaks to play and go on walks! During the week while I am working I am able to stop in for walks and feeding after work and class. When caring for pets in a clients home I am always sure that I know where everything I may need is located in the home including food, treats, collars, leashes, potty bags, kitty litter, scoops, etc. I also am sure to check in with clients so I know what areas of the home are totally off limits and what is allowed (for me and the pets!). I always do my best to create an environment for pets so that they feel safe and comfortable with me in their home so that they know they can trust me!

We have never used a professional pet sitting service before and Glenn and Diana provided us with not only did they provide excellent pet care, but they were extremely flexible with several last minute schedule changes. They also helped us navigate the Rover app to help correct errors on our part as well as giving our dog some short training sessions with sit, down, and stay while they were spending time with her. Glenn and Diana played a lot of fetch with the dog and gave our cat tons of attention too. Great sitters who really put us at ease! We highly recommend them and Rover!”

“Amber was fantastic! She set up a meet and greet with my animals and they immediately loved her. She had excellent communication and asked for expectations. We went over medications and time frames and she was very honest with her availability and schedule. Not only that, I was a dummy and had requested wrong dates in the future when I needed her that weekend. She was THANKFULLY available and we booked! The animals were well taken care of, we got tons of photos of our babies, and updates on our escape artists (cats). Not only that, I’m pretty sure she washed a few dishes in our sink which was such an amazing surprise after driving home from our weekend hockey tournament. About: I’ve had a love for dogs since I was young, the past year I’ve had experience looking after my friends dogs for overnights or a simple walk. I’m always open to looking after them during family vacations or helping where I can with a mini walk break or a light jog! Boarding I am only available weekends however weekdays I have more flexibility to dog sit. Regularly scheduled bathroom break, plenty of time on walks, and maybe a pup cup! I do not have a fence in my own home, however I am used to long walks with dogs in high temperatures and understand the importance of balance and rest for dogs in extreme weather.

About: We have had pets in my family my entire life.. Started off with a cat, then two. My older sister begged for a dog and we finally got one. Now my parents have two dogs, and one cat. We've had birds, fish, guinea pigs, frogs, and a bearded dragon... I recently moved out of my parents house and am craving the love from pets. I used to help my aunt care for her cats when she got older. I would pet sit for friends and neighbors growing up and Rover is allowing me to get back into that. I take myself for walks because I'm not good at sitting still and they would be much more enjoyable with a pal! I am working remotely and part time. I am a social worker so I meet with clients via tele-health. I do have a set schedule, but it allows for flexibility and I am not currently accepting new clients so this won't change much. I am renting a house so cannot accept pets into it- as the home owners trusting me with their indoor and outdoor cats. I have always been very careful in other people's homes- trying not to leave a trace- unless it is a note about how things went!
