“This was my first time using Rover and I was nervous. We have FIVE dogs. Yes FIVE. So it’s a big job for anyone. Lianna was spectacular. She was on time. She sent us pictures. My dogs looked happy and well cared for. I cannot recommend her enough. Anytime we are away we will definitely rebook. She is THE BEST!!!! Definitely FIVE STARS!!!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and babysitting since I was 13 years old. I have had pets my whole life and have gained the nickname Dr. Doolittle because of how good I am with all types of animals! I have always been a natural at caretaking for animals and kids. I have experience working with behavioral and nervous dogs as well as all sizes of dogs. I am currently a full-time graduate student studying special education and literacy. On weekdays I am student-teaching during school day hours (7am-3pm) and on weekends I am typically busy doing homework! Over the summer I work as a teaching assistant where my hours are 8:30am-2:30pm on weekdays. On the weekends I am able to spend the majority of the time caring for pets, often hanging out with them and doing homework, and taking breaks to play and go on walks! During the week while I am working I am able to stop in for walks and feeding after work and class. When caring for pets in a clients home I am always sure that I know where everything I may need is located in the home including food, treats, collars, leashes, potty bags, kitty litter, scoops, etc. I also am sure to check in with clients so I know what areas of the home are totally off limits and what is allowed (for me and the pets!). I always do my best to create an environment for pets so that they feel safe and comfortable with me in their home so that they know they can trust me!
About: I'm a reliable and compassionate dog sitter with hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. As a current veterinary technician student, I bring a strong understanding of animal behavior, basic medical care, and emergency response. Whether your pup needs playtime, walks, medication, or just some extra love while you're away, I provide attentive and safe care tailored to their needs. I work Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with just a 7-minute commute. This allows me ample time for evening pet care during the weekdays. I’m also fully available on weekends. I always follow the owner's instructions, as they know their pets best, and I respect any specific rules in place. I also use my best judgment to ensure your fur babies stay safe, comfortable, and happy at all times.
“Glenn and Diana were the best sitters ever! We have a very hyper, young lab who does not like to be left alone. We have never used a professional pet sitting service before and Glenn and Diana provided us with not only did they provide excellent pet care, but they were extremely flexible with several last minute schedule changes. They also helped us navigate the Rover app to help correct errors on our part as well as giving our dog some short training sessions with sit, down, and stay while they were spending time with her. Glenn and Diana played a lot of fetch with the dog and gave our cat tons of attention too. Great sitters who really put us at ease! We highly recommend them and Rover!”

“I’ve booked with Lydia multiple times now, and every experience has been excellent. She is a great communicator, always sends photo updates, and treats my dog so well. My dog is always happy and comfortable when I return. Highly recommend!”

I am also offering poop scooping services please message me for more information. I look forward to working with you and your pets! I will be doing this job while being a full time stay at home mom so if your pet is not good with children please let me know in advanced so I can set up child care. About: I have taken care of numerous dogs throughout the years. I have experiences with various breeds, shapes, age and sizes. I will be sure to give your pet baby love, time and attention and truly deserves. Your pet deserves nothing but the best!🐶🐾❤️ I am a full-time state worker; therefore, this will be my part-time gig (nights, weekends, some holidays). Sleeping can be arranged as long as the dog has arrangements while I work the next morning! I have fed animals and made sure to follow any dietary needs including medication, I have slept over, given plenty of walks and make sure all pets feel they’re in a safe and trusting environment. I also enjoy cuddling!😊

“Marlow was wonderful! I can't imagine how anyone could have done a better job taking care of my 2 cats. I have not been away from them for quite a while since the pandemic. Marlow regularly sent pictures that assured me they were being well cared for.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes. I’ve worked with puppies, special needs, and senior dogs. I would love to meet your pet! I’m currently doing some part time internship work during the week. But my schedule is flexible especially on Tuesday and Thursday. My weekends are free. I love spending time with animals. I am able to bathe, walk, crate, feed, and give medications. I would love to come meet your pets!
About: I’m a graduating law student looking to take pup-filled study breaks while I prepare for the bar exam. I have a big cat named Perry and I love dogs. I’ve had at least one dog my entire life, and most of my family members have as well, so I have a lot of experience with many different breeds. I hope you’ll trust me to take care of your beloved pets while you’re away. Even shy dogs and cats tend to warm up to me quickly, and I love getting them out of their shells. Please note that I am unable to do walks longer than 20-30 minutes. I am available for longer daytime stays but not overnight stays. I am currently a student, so my schedule, while a little sporadic, is fairly open, especially on the weekends. I also enjoy taking walks when I can, so adding dogs to those walks can only make them better! I do not accept clients for boarding. If and when I do drop in visits, I will make sure and follow the owner’s instructions, and primarily make sure the pet feels comforted and doesn’t feel alone.

About: I have taken care of 3 dogs since the age of 11 as my family pets. Since moving out on my own, I have an Australian shepherd and an orange kitten that have become my world! I have dog sat/cat sat for friends and family, walked, fed, played, and loved them as if they were my own! I currently work full time night shift in Albany, NY Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights. I am free all day Wednesday through Saturday but, am willing to work out certain hours Sunday-Tuesday if needed! I love to walk dogs! About: My name is Alexis craig, I am a 23 year old college student. I’ve had experience working with dogs for over 4 1/2 years now. I started out volunteering in the shelters , & got to work with many service dogs while being in the military. I have experience with many different breeds and sizes. I’ve learned how to deal with dogs with anxiety, aggression, and being timid. I believe dogs truly are mans best friend which is why I want to protect and love them the same way they do us. I am currently in school studying animal behavior, I find the animal mind in general fascinating. My goal is to one day open a no kill shelter where dogs have no time limit on how long they can stay and never have the fear of being neglected. While your pooch is with me they will have fun, learn new tricks , engage in activities that stimulate there mind and feel at ease in the comfort of my home or there own. I have a high energetic puppy who loves to play all day so high energetic puppies, and adult dogs are super welcomed. I currently work 3 days out of the week Sunday-Tuesday. That gives me plenty of time with your pup during the rest of the week and makes my availability very flexible Although I do not have a fenced backyard we have a gate we put up in the back when the dogs are outback to ensure there safety as well as the other dogs around the neighborhood

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Rotterdam
Meg was great with our pets! Our dog is a reactive rescue who usually takes multiple visits before he’s comfortable and he was begging her to pet him within the first 30 minutes. Our cat is elderly and needs medication and Meg was great with her as well. She was super communicative so we always felt like we knew exactly what was going on at home. We’ll definitely be booking more visits in the future and recommend Meg!

Mary took such good care of our gang of quadrupeds. We booked last minute but she was still able to schedule a meet & greet with the crew prior to caring for them. One of our dogs (ok, 2) struggles with new people, but Mary was patient and took her on a little trust walk to get acclimated, which meant a lot to us. She was a dream and we highly recommend her to care for your loved ones too!

Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of Huxley! She arrived on time, followed all directions perfectly, and was reliable and communicative throughout. It’s clear she genuinely cares about animals. She also kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us real peace of mind. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter!

Scott was wonderful with our 3 dogs. One has stranger danger and he she warmed up to him with no question. Our puppy had some accidents and he made sure his crate was cleaned and dry. He was prompt and communicated very well. Would use him again in a heart beat!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Rotterdam with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
