“Jess stayed in my home for 15 days and took care of my mini pig (lives inside), 3 cats, and fish. She went above and beyond. She had some issues with a grumpy pig the first few days and I am beyond grateful that she stuck it out and gave him the time and patience he needed for her to be accepted into his circle. She really made our trip so much more relaxing as I didn't have to worry about my fur babies or home while we were across the world. I appreciate her effort, time, and love she gave to my pets. “We feel very lucky to have been referred to the Rover experience, and moreover very blessed to have been referred to Candice specifically, by a dear friend. We were even fortunate that Candice happened to be free during the core timeframe we needed her services since it was still such a busy time of year for her and with quite a last-minute booking, and meet and greet on our part. Candice was so pleasant and on time for the meet and greet. She allowed us a thorough amount of time to introduce our working dog/K9 to her, especially since all of my notes on routine, and all the specifics of his needs (and wants lol) had not been fully outlined yet. This included the need for her to learn everyday and obedience commands in a European language, a challenge she met with excitement and sincere interest. It was obvious early on that Johnny took to Candice, and allowed her into his circle of trust like an old pal. Which helped to put my husband and I at ease. By the end of the meet and greet, we felt confident in handing over keys with the promise of finalizing documentation before we left, and any supplemental documentation she may find further helpful within the first few days of our departure (due to the short timeframe). During our trip, Candice kept us consistently and appropriately up-to-date on how Johnny was doing and how their bond continued to grow. Given the numerous things that we had to worry about with this trip, including my current limitations and disability, it was clear that worrying about Johnny, as we’ve had to do in the past (even when boarding at the vet!) was not necessary. She stuck to his routine, gave him excellent exercise; and in every picture, he seemed happy, loved and healthy. And she even had to contend with some heavy rain which for anyone who understands working dogs (even medium drive at the age of six) knows this is no easy task. She even made sure he had a special sixth birthday meal since we left for our trip on the day of his birthday. The house was left clean and tidy, and Candice ensured that our postal mail and any packages were brought inside. We anticipate using Candice’s services and welcoming her into our home to care for Johnny again whether for short term or long term gigs. K9 Johnny himself has already made requests on “his” calendar. And we highly recommend Candice and her expert care to other clients. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Candice. J. “Lianna is very responsible, communicative, and reliable. I booked her for a 9-day house sitting to take care of my 3 dogs while my family and I were on a vacation. She sent daily updates and pictures so I knew the dogs were getting walked and also getting quality "people time" on the couch! When we returned home, the house looked as clean if not cleaner than when we left. This was my first time hiring a house sitter and my first time using Rover, so I booked Lianna for a couple short drop-in visits so she and the dogs could get acquainted with each other before the long house sitting. I was pleased and comfortable with how she conducted herself and how she interacted with the dogs. In the past, I have boarded my dogs at the vet, but Lianna provided a better alternative at a lower price. The dogs got more exercise and more human interaction than boarding and the added benefit is that my house was being looked after as well. I highly recommend Lianna.”

He not only takes care of their basic needs, but always goes out of his way to pay extra special attention to them. He greets any pet in a given situation as though they are equally as important as the humans he is meeting. Throughout his life, he has played an integral part in caring for his own pets as well as caring for some family and friend’s pets while they were away. To give you an idea of what an amazing person and animal lover he is, on 2 hours notice he travelled 36 hours from the opposite side of the world in order to say his final goodbye to his beloved dog. You can feel confident knowing he will take the best care of your pets and treat them like family!”
