About: Hey Pet Owners! I'm Vivian! I’m a dedicated veterinary student who’s crazy about animals and loves turning pet care into a happy, stress-free experience. From playful pups to snuggly cats (and even the quirky small pets), I bring a mix of professional experience and genuine love to every visit. I can provide walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, and even medication if needed — all while making sure your pet feels safe, loved, and totally spoiled. With my vet training, I’m quick to notice anything out of the ordinary, and with my animal-obsessed heart, I’m all about belly rubs, chin scratches, and tail wags. I have also taken care of many pets in the past as well as even bigger farm animals so I am your gal! Whether you’re away for a day or a week, you can relax knowing your furry (or feathered!) friend is in caring, capable hands. Let’s make your pet’s day as fun as possible! It would be part of my day to day routine before going to work or dropping by on my weekends! Either way will make it work with the owners schedule to make it happen! I provide services where I would care for your pet with the utmost responsibility in your home making sure your pet and your property is safely secure and well kept!
“Kathryn was amazing. Prior to her first stay with our puppies she came to the house to meet with us and the dogs. The dogs loved her! She is a genuine animal lover. She stayed several days at the house and sent so many nice pictures and videos of the dogs enjoying her stay. It was so nice to go out of town and not worry. She took excellent care of them and treated them as if they were her own. Even brought her pups to the house for some playtime to wear out the puppy. We would 1000% use Kathryn whenever she is available. While she stay with our dogs, she also watched my Mom's cat down the street. My mom was thrilled with all the pictures and updates. Her cat is not fond of very many people and my Mom was so happy to see him interact with Kathryn. She did an amazing job.”

About: With my 7+ year career in non-profit animal welfare and vet med, including running a spay/neuter and vaccination clinic, (plus 30+ years of personal experience caring for cats, dogs, small animals, horses and exotics) you can rest easy leaving your animals in my experienced and loving care. From rambunctious puppies and kittens, to shy and reactive dogs (I have one of those myself), to seniors with special medical needs (I have THREE of those!), I've seen them all. When you entrust me with the care of your animal, they become like members of my extended four-legged family, receiving the same loving attention and care as my own. My engagements (work, volunteering, assisting with family childcare, etc.) are part-time only and highly flexible. My calendar reflects times that I am available (with notice) to intentionally commit my time and attention to your animals. Cats boarded in my home are given their own private bedroom with lots of natural sunlight and views over the garden for prime bird-watching. They will receive visits and love all day long, kept separate and unbothered by my cantankerous orange fluff-ball. Because one of my two dogs is very seldomly dog-social, out of fairness to her AND to clients' dogs I do not offer dog boarding in my home. I will happily care for your dog in your home, including overnights when my schedule allows.
“Rachel is amazing she took fantastic care of my Gemma! This is the second time Rachel has watched my dog for over a week, my girl loves her so much and I couldn’t be happier to have found such a wonderful person to care for my fur baby❤️🥰🐾”
“Kimberly was GREAT! She took such great care of our dog and cats- sent sooo many updates along the way! I appreciated that when she arrived she let me walk her through everything, where stuff was, etc. - it gave me great peace of mind to know she was fully informed. I would recommend Kimberly 100 times, and look forward to booking more drop ins, stays, etc in the future with her as she was a great sitter to our fur babies!”

“Kevin provided wonderful care for our dog while we were out of town for the weekend. He asked thoughtful questions about our dog before sitting him and followed our instructions while here. Our dog has some behavioral quirks so it’s very important to us that his sitter pays attention to detail. Kevin was also timely, reliable, and courteous. By the end of the weekend, it looked like Kevin and Babka were pals. Thanks, Kevin—we hope to book with you again in the future!”

About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. When I owned dogs and other animals in the past, I make sure to tend to their unique needs whether that mean adhering to a medication regimen or putting them in their cage/crate as needed.

“Brian was great with our dog Molly! He was very responsive, kept us updated and send pictures of Molly during his stay. We will definitely request him again in the future!”

“Whitney is hands down the best cat-sitter we could ask for! Punctual, responsive, flexible, and, above all, so incredibly caring for pets. We will definitely continue to use her services and I know Roo is looking forward to that as well :)”

“Ju-lie is an amazing pet sitter. I am very particular about who watches my dog. I had no worries leaving her in Ju-lie’s care. She was very attentive to my instructions for caring for her. She sent me pictures of her and let me know how things were going. She left my apartment clean, and exactly how I left it. I look forward to having Ju-lie watch Miah again for me! I highly recommend her as a pet sitter.”

“Dawn was amazing! She took great care of our dogs. We received updates and photos upon visits. She gave them their meds and gave them a homemade treat (snaps dipped in peanut butter)…so cute! I highly recommend Dawn for your pet sitting needs.”

Anna was wonderful with our high-energy 7-month-old Lab! She arrived on time, spent plenty of time outside with her even in the cold, and stayed for five hours. She followed all instructions and made sure our pup was fed lunch and dinner. We felt completely at ease and would absolutely recommend her.

Kathryn was everything we asked for and more. We booked her for the week of Christmas and she took great care of our dog. Before we left for our trip she came to our home twice to get acquainted with our dog. She sent daily updates & pictures and was quick to reply when I reached out to her. Not only did she feed and play with our dog, but she even brought her treats and tucked her into bed at night (Pitties love their blankets). She texted me to warn me about a snow storm that came during our time away and even shoveled our driveway so we could get into it on our return! Who does that? She is a true gem and I feel so lucky to have found her on Rover. I am anxious to plan my next trip knowing Kathryn is willing to come back.

Kimberly is an exceptional sitter! We went away for a long weekend and she took excellent care of our Lab-mix, Penny. Her communication was excellent and she regularly sent photos and videos of Penny during her walks and play time. Kimberly was also very thoughtful and considerate while staying in our home - she even brought in the mail and packages for us. We would recommend Kimberly 100%, and so would Penny!

Savannah was such a blessing to our family and took on caring for our two dogs and 1 cat for a whole week! She sent us updates and photos multiple times each day and ensured our peace of mind. She also dealt with our Cavalier having a tummy issue (and mess in her kennel) with grace, poise and very thorough cleaning - bathed both dogs and rescued the house from what must have been quite a poopocalypse! When we got home, the house smelled fresh and clean because she made sure to tidy and mop - it was such a welcome sight to see our dogs happy and our home clean upon our return. Savannah was very communicative throughout our booking, and patient when our response was delayed (we were on a cruise and signal was sometimes unavailable). Can’t wait to book her for our next getaway!

Haileigh did a wonderful job taking care of all our animals. Always responded quickly to texts and kept in contact every day. My animals were all happy and healthy when I got home. It was a relief to not have to worry while we were on vacation. I would definitely recommend Haileigh for your pet care needs.

Tracy is AMAZING !!!! She is so comfortable and compassionate. I spoil Remi (so did Tracy) and Tracy was very accommodating with the drop off of Remi’s food three days before drop off because my schedule is CRAZY !!!! When Tracy picked Remi up, she had to deal with Remi’s mood (and a nosey cat Tracy is allergic) - but persevered. PS - Tracy is AMAZING !!!!
