About: I have hosted dogs for over 15 years and have experience with many breeds. My dog Harvey was a member of Therapy Dog International. I believe that the key to well-behaved dogs is plenty of exercise so aside from wrestling and chasing, we go for long walks preferably off-leash. Our home is on the Mohawk River so water loving dogs get to swim. I take care of dogs full time. I live on a dead end street so we can take frequent short walks. We also go to the dog park. Every dog has unique qualities that require special attention and care. I watch for fear-based reactions and avoid certain situations or help to overcome anxiety.

Libby was SO sweet, accommodating and patient with me, and immediately seemed to have a connection with my fur babies. About: I am currently attending Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine to become a veterinarian! I have experience in pet sitting as well as hospital settings including boarding and being a veterinary assistant. I have provided care for a variety of animals from dogs and cats to goats and chickens! I have experience with all kinds of breeds and different personality types like skittish or reactive pets. I grew up rescuing and fostering animals so my animal experience has been my whole life. Professionally I’ve worked with animals for 6 years. One of our dogs is usually cautious around new people and was completely adamant about not warming up to anyone at first but by mid week, they had become best buddies. Seeing that level of trust and comfort honestly meant so much to us. When we got home, the dogs were so happy, relaxed, and attached to her routine that it actually took them almost 10 minutes to realize we were back! That alone says everything about how comfortable and cared for they felt during the stay. About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, I was a bather in a dog salon, and my sister is a vet assistant and pet groomer who I have been learning from. I have spent the last 5 years dog sitting for various friends and family. I currently care for my three year old niece during the day and I have the ability to be home with your pet all day during their stay :) We have a fenced in yard, we live on a quiet dead end street and my sister (who also lives in the home) is a vet assistant and pet groomer who knows emergency protocols. I also care for her pets throughout the day, but separate from boarders during their stay. However, since they are dog-friendly and well socialized, you also have the option to add playtime with them to your dog’s stay!
