About: I have sat for many animals - but have also had several of my own pets over the last 38 years. Ask me about Alice (my 6 ft boa constrictor), Iggy (the iguana), any of my beloved cats: Whoola, MooKitty, Jordan, Fish, Baby Blue, Fuzzfoot & Spice. My rainbow bridge pups: DragonHoney, RahRah, Patchouli and my best friend, Onyx. And last, but definitely not the least - Sampson, my awesome rescued African skink. We have also had turtles, fish, frogs and salamanders over the years. I am currently on family leave, so have flexibility for animal care in my schedule. I would prefer to be used for walks and short vacation care. Depending on the situation, I may be able to board in my home, or stay in yours, or make regular visits as needed. I am very flexible as I am not at work currently. I will make your furr-maily feel like a part of my family :-) I work best with a schedule and details for each visit. What to do, where things are located, etc. I would prefer to sit from your home, but can take boarding if the fit/timing is right. I understand how important good care for a pet is when you are away, you want to make sure they are in the best hands and that your home is also safe. We did several pre-trip visits since my trip would be 10 days and out of country; and one of my 2 dogs is a chronic anxiety attached girl! About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors.
