About: I have hosted dogs for over 15 years and have experience with many breeds. My dog Harvey was a member of Therapy Dog International. I believe that the key to well-behaved dogs is plenty of exercise so aside from wrestling and chasing, we go for long walks preferably off-leash. Our home is on the Mohawk River so water loving dogs get to swim. I take care of dogs full time. I live on a dead end street so we can take frequent short walks. We also go to the dog park. Every dog has unique qualities that require special attention and care. I watch for fear-based reactions and avoid certain situations or help to overcome anxiety.
About: I've been surrounded by animals since as far back as I can remember. I grew up with great danes, snakes, birds, and rats, among others. Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions, and I love finding opportunities that allow me to do so! I do work full time, my shifts usually range from 8-5 to 10-7. There is fenced in dog parks within the complex for easy bathroom visits as well as prolonged paved trails right next to my apartment that go into the woods for longer walks in the evening around lunchtime and in the morning. Dog Gates secure the dog within our second floor, preventing entry to third floor bedrooms and first floor mudroom. Dogs will have eyes on them at all times when not with owner.

This was our first time using an in home pet sitter! We (and our dogs) knew Jenna from our veterinary practice and while our latest rescue has special needs (super high fear-anxiety), we were hesitant to take a vacation.
