About: I've been surrounded by animals since as far back as I can remember. I grew up with great danes, snakes, birds, and rats, among others. Caring for animals is one of my greatest passions, and I love finding opportunities that allow me to do so! I do work full time, my shifts usually range from 8-5 to 10-7. Depending on the distance I can drop in on my lunch break, otherwise I can do drop ins after I get out. On the days I am off I am free any time. I can do overnights depending on the location. I am enthusiastic about caring for animals, and will treat yours as if they are my own. There is nothing I will not accommodate, and I am highly communicative.

About: I have hosted dogs for over 15 years and have experience with many breeds. My dog Harvey was a member of Therapy Dog International. I believe that the key to well-behaved dogs is plenty of exercise so aside from wrestling and chasing, we go for long walks preferably off-leash. Our home is on the Mohawk River so water loving dogs get to swim. I take care of dogs full time. I live on a dead end street so we can take frequent short walks. We also go to the dog park. Every dog has unique qualities that require special attention and care. I watch for fear-based reactions and avoid certain situations or help to overcome anxiety.
About: Fun fact: I house sat for 6 animals! 4 cats and 2 dogs. They are still one of my favorite clients. My own family dog was a trained therapy and service animal for 10 years! About: My name is Stuart, I am relocating to the area as I am starting a position at Albany Medical Center (AMC) in October. As I wait to begin my next chapter, nothing would make me more happy than to spend time with animals! I have always had a knack for the outdoors and have always had a soft spot for animals. I am an avid runner and am almost always be found running or hiking. I can guaranteed your dog will get the exercise and care he/she needs under my supervision. I have experience volunteering at the Lake Placid Vet as-well as volunteer experience at the Saranac Lake Animal Shelter. I have house sat /walked several dogs such as Australian shepherds, Labs, Bernie’s and Doodles in the past. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to me! Until I start my position at Albany Medical Center (10/15/2026), I have no obligations besides providing optimal care for the dogs under my supervision. Specifically, I am free on both weekdays and weekends and I’m flexible to work around schedules. I have a three-story townhouse apartment. There is fenced in dog parks within the complex for easy bathroom visits as well as prolonged paved trails right next to my apartment that go into the woods for longer walks in the evening around lunchtime and in the morning. Dog Gates secure the dog within our second floor, preventing entry to third floor bedrooms and first floor mudroom. Dogs will have eyes on them at all times when not with owner.

Family & Friends always rely on me to take care of their fur babies! I am on the LOWER SIDE OF COST, simply because I enjoy caring for dogs & cats. I don't think it should be that EXPENSIVE! I have been in the same boat before with my fur baby with needing care from a stranger. Your dog or cat will be well taken care of and loved in my hands ! It is has me unavailable you can always send a request and I can work to make an adjustment! She was very respectful of my home, and left it in great condition!
Can't speak highly enough of Mary-Kate. We have a rescue and our only here temporarily, and she's providing an immense amount of stability for him. She plays with him, feed him, walks him, and he absolutely adores her. We've never seen him this calm with anyone else.
