“Our experience with Jessica was absolutely amazing. We were gone for a week, and she took such incredible care of our two dogs. Taking care of two dogs can be a lot, but Jessica handled everything so well and made the whole process stress-free for us She kept us updated regularly with pictures and messages, and it was clear the dogs were getting tons of love, attention, and care every single day. One of our dogs is usually cautious around new people and was completely adamant about not warming up to anyone at first but by mid week, they had become best buddies. Seeing that level of trust and comfort honestly meant so much to us. When we got home, the dogs were so happy, relaxed, and attached to her routine that it actually took them almost 10 minutes to realize we were back! About: I don’t just love animals, I have been around them since the day I was born. I have had cats, dogs, birds, and small rodents since I was born. I have taken care of these animals from a very young age and believe I have a natural understanding of pets and their behaviors! I currently work full time at a middle school in Albany where my hours are 8 AM to 3 PM. Otherwise, I am usually free and have more availability on weekends, during school breaks and over the summer. I currently am a cat mom and keep all of my cats indoors. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
