Pet care experience
Play + snuggles for dogs and cats!
My partner and I currently have three medium dogs, including a senior and one who takes daily medicine, and two cats, including one with a history of urinary blockage and issues which necessitate a prescription wet food. I know the stress of trying to find someone responsible to care for your pet(s), and the importance of being attentive to pets and keeping owners updated throughout the visit or stay. (When I’m sitting overnight, my spouse makes sure ours are well-loved so your pet gets my full attention.) My experience spans most of my life. I've had dogs and cats since childhood, volunteered with the humane society, worked with a non-profit organization that trains therapy dogs for seniors and wilderness search dogs, and been a pet sitter since college. I've dealt with young puppies, rowdy kittens, separation anxiety, oral medications and prescription diets for both dogs and cats, multi-dog households, food aggression, and even a senior diabetic cat on injections. I know every pet has different needs, and am happy to do whatever it takes to keep them safe and happy. I also have experience owning and pet sitting for reptiles, hamsters, and ferrets, and am open to caring for any animal you need!

Marlow was amazing!! One of the best dog sitters/house sitters we’ve had. They send updates and photos twice a day, played and walked with our pup, and followed his routine to a tee. He liked them so much I think he was a little depressed the next couple days after they left. We will definitely ask them a to watch out sweet pup again!

Marlow took such amazing care watching our cats, especially with some snow hitting while we were out of town. Marlow was responsive, quick to schedule a meet and greet with the cats, and provided detailed daily updates with photos. I would absolutely use Marlow again for pet sitting!
Marlow was communicative, diligent and helpful. There was a concern with one of our cats while we were away and Marlow followed up with us immediately. We came home to two happy cats. We would absolutely hire Marlow again!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work remotely on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and have the flexibility to spend lots of time hanging with your pet for playtime or walks throughout the day. (Pets make the best coworkers.) I can work with you to accommodate whatever your pet needs. I have open weekend availability. I work in education, which means I’m always off around holidays, the entire month of December, and from June - September in the summer.

I'm happy to work with you to ensure your pet is happy and safe, whatever that entails. I understand as an owner it can be stressful to leave your pet, and will provide regular text and photo updates to help ease your nerves.
Pets
A typical day
You name it - your pet and I can do it! We can go on walks around the neighborhood or local parks, trips to the dog park, or even bigger adventures such as hiking locally for more energetic dogs. I also have dogs of my own, including a very social youngster whose energy is everlasting and who loves to make new friends if your dog enjoys such activities. Or, if your dog is more into the simple joys of life, we can also hang out around your place for naps, belly rubs, and treats. The same is true for cats - whether it’s playtime, snuggles, pets, or just someone to hang around while giving your cat some space so they’re not lonely, I’m happy to do whatever makes your feline friend happy!
