About: I had over ten dogs growing up, both large and small, and have had three cats. All have lived to an old age and had a wonderful quality of life! I work from 7am-3pm Monday-Friday with occasional work from homes, so I can provide pet care in the early morning and/or afternoon/evening! On weekends, I am flexible! I focus on building trust and affection with pets, ensuring play time and pets are on their terms, giving space as needed! I am big on safety and keeping a watchful eye on them.
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a child, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving them the care they deserve. During the week I usually get home from work around 4pm, so I'm available for late afternoon or evening visits. I'm generally around on weekends and holidays. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress or aggression. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

“Evelyn went above and beyond taking care of our two dogs. She came to the meet and greet with paper and pen to take notes, which ensured me we had made the right choice in contacting Evelyn. She checked in and sent multiple updates through the time she was with the dogs. We will 100% be working with Evelyn again when we need someone to care for our dogs.”

“Jenna and Aiden were absolutely a dream! My dogs were well cared for. We came home to happy healthy dogs and a house in better shape than when we left. They absolutely went above and beyond. They gave us updates on the dogs with pictures. We will be using them again!”

“Patrick came for a meet and greet and understood the needs of my reactive dog. He did great with her and she warmed right up to him. He took care of her specialty food needs as well as medication. He was also very responsive and kept us updated. We will definitely reach out to him for future sits.”

“Heather took care of our pups and our house while we traveled for a week. She took excellent care of both! Heather was great with communication and sending pics of our pups. We would definitely use her again.”
“Alex did a great job with Chip while I was out of town. It was clear he gave Chip lots of attention and gave him plenty of exercise. Alex was also very communicative and provided great updates!”

“Madalyn continues to be our go-to sitter when we will be away. She has great communication with us throughout and sends pics to know our dog is in great hands. Ruby also loves playing with her dog which is amazing to see!”

“Bradley was the perfect pet sitter. He was communicative and responsive and treated my home with respect. He sent frequent updates and pictures of my cat. He even helped out when the cat went missing unexpectedly, offering to look for him and lending a cat carrier. I will be using Bradley again for sure and I recommend you use him for your pet needs too!”

“Natasha was wonderful with Bonnie and Clyde. We received regular updates with pictures of the dogs to brighten our day. Natasha also went above and beyond taking care of our house, and we would definitely recommend. Thank you!”

“Laina is a FANTASTIC sitter and friend to animals! My grandfather passed and we desperately needed a sitter. Luckily for us, Laina had availability and met us for a meet-and-greet at our convenience. She drove through a blizzard to stay with our cat and dog. She was thorough, sent us several reassuring updates with photos, and treated our fur babies (and home) with care! I’ve never felt so comfortable leaving my pets and look forward to working with her in the future. 10/10!”

“Thank you Kenedy for watching our three dogs while we were away! Kenedy was amazing with the dogs. She was also so respectful of our home. She washed the dog food bowls before leaving! I previously did not have a good experience with Rover, but Kenedy has changed my mind and I’m super glad to have this positive experience! Thank you!!!!”

“This is my second time booking with Alexis and will definitely book again! She took great care of my animals, provided updates, administered inhaler treatments to my cat, and cleaned up before leaving. Thank you so much!”
“Working with Nyasia was wonderful right from the booking request. Great communication throughout the week of watching our dog and cat. She was very respectful of our house which she left clean and tidy. Hope to book with her in the future.”

“Ayva took wonderful care of our dog, Bondi, for four days while staying at our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very beginning, Ayva was responsible, kind, and genuinely caring toward Bondi. It was clear that she loves animals and treats them with patience and affection. Bondi was happy, well-exercised, and calm when we returned, which says everything about the quality of care he received. Ayva followed all our instructions carefully, kept the home neat and tidy, and regularly updated us, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. We felt completely comfortable leaving both our home and our beloved dog in Ayva’s care. She is trustworthy, reliable, and thoughtful, exactly the kind of person you hope to find when you need someone to look after your pet. We would highly recommend Ayva to anyone looking for a dependable and caring pet-sitter and would happily ask her to help again in the future. 🐶💛”

About: I’ve grown up caring for dogs my entire life, and now as an adult I’ve trained and raised my own Shiba Inu from puppyhood. My experience is hands-on, patient, and practical. I understand how to build trust with dogs of all personalities, from shy or anxious pups to energetic, playful dogs. While I’m not a professional trainer, I am confident with basic commands and can reinforce simple skills such as sit, paw, handshake, wait, lay down, and roll over. I love helping dogs practice good manners in a positive, gentle way while keeping everything fun and stress-free. I’m experienced with: •Puppies (basic training, potty breaks, routine building, crate familiarity) •Adult dogs (structured walks, enrichment, consistency, attention to detail) •Senior dogs (gentle handling, slow pace, comfort and routine) •Dogs with anxiety (moving slowly, respecting space, reducing stress signals) •Daily care routines (feeding, fresh water, potty schedules, brushing, and play) What sets me apart is how much emphasis I put on safety, patience, and communication. I read dog body language carefully, follow your routine exactly, keep their environment clean, and send plenty of photo updates so you always feel connected to your pup. Your dog will be cared for with the same love and attention I give my own. If you are looking for an overnight, I’m willing to do overnights on my work days as well. I am very flexible. Communication is my biggest strength. When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, my top priorities are safety, structure, and trust. I create a calm, clean, and predictable environment so every dog feels comfortable and secure. In Your Home: I respect your space and your dog’s routine exactly as you describe it. I follow all feeding instructions, potty schedules, and household rules. I make sure doors are locked, gates are secured, and your pet never has access to anything unsafe. I also clean up after myself and your pet so your home stays tidy. In My Home: Pets are kept in a safe, controlled space with no hazards, clutter, or anything they can get into. I provide fresh water at all times, regular potty breaks being that I live only 10 minutes away from my job so I pop in time to time on lunch breaks to check on my own little guy, and I provide a peaceful environment. I supervise closely and never leave pets unattended in situations where they could get into trouble. I read dog body language carefully and move at their pace especially with shy or anxious dogs. I ensure that every dog has their own comfortable space to rest, along with enrichment, playtime, and gentle affection (always based on the dog’s comfort level). Communication is important to me. I send regular updates, photos, and messages so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet’s well-being and your peace of mind will always come first.

We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the moment she arrived, I felt completely at ease leaving Ollie in her care — and that says a lot because he’s a big boy with an even bigger personality. 😊 She was attentive and responsible. She kept me updated with regular messages and photos, which meant the world to me while I was away. It was obvious he was happy, comfortable, and well-loved the entire time she stayed at our home. She also took wonderful care of the house — everything was spotless and just as we left it. Most importantly, Ollie absolutely adored her. He was calm, content, and clearly bonded with her by the end of the stay. I would 100% book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional sitter. Thank you so much for taking such amazing care of our gentle giant!

Patrick is such a nice young man who obviously cares about animals. He is great with my puppy Sadie who can be full of the nit. I have already used him 3 times and have been very satisfied with his friendly nature and care for Sadie. I highly recommend Patrick!

Kenedy was professional, warm, and incredibly attentive, instantly putting us at ease during our vacation. Our kitties were clearly loved, well-cared-for, and happy the entire time we were away, which means everything to us. Kenedy went above and beyond in every way - following routines perfectly, providing regular updates and photos, and even helping with clearing the snow from one of the biggest and coldest winter storms in years! We were able to truly relax knowing our cats and home were in such capable hands. We would not hesitate for a second to have Kenedy sit for us again and recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for an exceptional house and pet sitter!

Alex was an incredible sitter! He stayed with our dogs for a few days while we were out of town. He took great care of them, going above and beyond by bringing additional feeding tools and toys he thought would work well for them (thank you for introducing Oslo to a slow feeder!). He was very attentive to their needs, sent photos often, and provided frequent updates via text. Thank you so much Alex! We can't recommend him highly enough!

Clyanna is the best. She always takes care of our cat, Eugene, so well and I come back to a clean apartment and super happy cat. On a personal note, she is also really easy to communicate with and is just an all around sweet and kind person. I would give her 10 stars if I could.

We couldn't be happier with our decision of booking with Myia. We were gone for 11 days and didn't really want to kennel our super anxious chiweenie Fred for that long, so we decided to try the housesitting option through Rover. Myia did an amazing job keeping an eye on our apartment as well as taking care of the forementioned Fred. I know that really helped him as opposed to being kenneled by himself for almost 2 weeks. We highly recommend Myia, and will be looking to her for assistance again in the (very near) future.
