About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

Jessica has been walking our dog since April and she has been terrific! We feel very lucky to have found her! She’s reliable, kind, and intuitive with our dog. She sends midday reports on her walks which are super helpful. I always come home to a calmer pup since Jessica started with us. We’re hoping to hire her for a longer sit at some point, too. Jessica is great!

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

About: I have been caring for pets for friends and family for many years. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty when it comes to cleaning up pet messes. Plus I love sending photos to owners to assure them that their pets are happy and cared for. I am mostly available weeknights and weekends. I am currently working full-time, but I have the ability to check in on pets during the day if needed. Weekday mornings are usually a little busy for me. While I cannot currently offer housing for pets in my home, partly due to a cat diva, I can promise to be respectful of any home I enter.

About: Friends and family members have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones for as long as I can remember. Our furry friends deserve just as much love and care as we do. I work from home three days out of the week, so I am able to care for pets during the day. I am also incredibly available throughout the weekends and each weeknight. I maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime to keep pets feeling secure and comfortable. I keep clients updated with photos and updates on their pets' well-being, so they can feel confident that their furry friend is in good hands. I create a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for pets to roam, play, and relax. I ensure all areas are pet-proofed and free from hazards. Pets receive lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I offer enrichment activities like toys and outdoor walks.

About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 2 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: Hello everyone, I am Victoria! I’ve been caring for animals since childhood as I grew up on a decent amount of acreage with a constant rotation of three German shepherds, cats, parrots, small animals, and chickens; all of my dogs have passed and I’ve gotten high marks in their training sessions, so if you're working on something important with your dog; let me know! I am also versed in caring for other critters as well, no matter the species, and can administer medicine or a special diet for your pet. I look forward to working with you! Time management is my best friend and my energy level has made for very easy scheduling of my pets needs. Playtime is just as important as potty time and I will ensure that your pet gets both! My eyes will always be on your loved ones. As a multiple animal owner, I have had cats with strict diets, high energy dogs, and also puppies that tried relentlessly to get into things; all of which were avoided by giving love and praise, paying close attention to their environment, and setting them up for success. I have a keen eye for detail and I would never let anything happen to your animals (I would treat them as my own & protect them of course)!

About: Hi! I'm a dependable, caring, and detail-oriented pet sitter who understands that every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. Whether your pet needs overnight care, drop-in visits, walks, feeding, playtime, or companionship, I'll treat them as if they were my own. I'm happy to follow your pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, administering oral medications if needed, and providing regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I've looked after pets with different personalities and energy levels. My responsibilities have included feeding, walking, playtime, maintaining routines, providing plenty of affection, cleaning up after pets, and making sure they felt comfortable while their owners were away. I understand how important consistency and patience are when caring for animals, and I always strive to create a calm, positive environment where pets feel secure. Outside of pet sitting, I'm a pharmacy student, which has strengthened my attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to follow instructions carefully. I know how important it is to be reliable, communicate clearly, and respond promptly. If your pet has specific routines or special care instructions, you can trust that I'll follow them closely. I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, allowing me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. My availability includes mornings, evenings, weekends, and many weekdays. I plan my commitments carefully so that every pet receives the attention, exercise, potty breaks, and companionship they need. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible, for both you and your pet. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! I currently work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care! I’m available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I do my best to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible. I care for every dog as if they were my own. In my home, I’ll provide a safe, clean, and loving environment with plenty of playtime, walks, potty breaks, fresh water, and lots of attention. I have an open yard for supervised outdoor time and a nearby park for fun walks and exercise. About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.

About: Come check out my virtual portfolio🐶💞‼️ Hello my name is Kimberly, I am a postdoc (bi-lingual). I worked in 3 different emergency vet hospitals during high school and then throughout college. My love for this field started at a young age, while I may be getting a career in this field, my family overall is embedded and involved. Having a sister who is a licensed technician and two immediate cousins (home I am close too🙂!) are veterinarians (1 being a surgeon). That being said.. I have worked in an animal hospital through a paid position for six years straight, From there I have not stopped dog walking & pet sitting involving all types of animals, cats & dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, bunnies, mice and even monkeys! After woking in veterinarian clinics, I worked with larger breeds such as monkeys where I was able to be trained and later assisted on surgeries. I also pet sit with my sister Rahuchel. She has been a Vet-tech for 14 years and a registered nurse for 5. Disclaimers‼️ ‼️If you are located in South Point you will accrue an additional $5/service/day. ‼️Any pet that requires medication administration will accrue an additional $5/service/day. Boarding walk schedule: Morning walk ☀️ 6:30-7:30 am Mid day walk 🥙 12-2:30pm Dinner walk 🍽️ 5-6:30pm Last call 📞 9-11:30pm I have a fenced in dog park at my apartment complex and two friendly small pugs. I have the ability to crate your friend if you would like (but you must bring the crate), I can also separate them if you want. I ensure food is never shared by separating everyone during meal time (regardless of allergies) and I do not give out my own food or treats (to ensure maximum safety). I have plenty of time to walk and care for your best friend! I typically like to walk dogs minimum of 3 times a day. I also have a vehicle and am willing to drive up to 10 miles to ensure you feel comfortable with whom you choose for you pet care needs. I have a fenced in dog park, and 2 fur babies to keep your babies company. I am familiar with crate if you prefer your friend is crated when I am not home, otherwise, while I’m there they can roam as they please! My walk schedule is as follows (subject to change based on the pets I have and their needs!) Morning walk ☀️ 6:30-7:30 am Mid day walk 🥙 12-2:30pm Dinner walk 🍽️ 5-6:30pm Last call 📞 9-11:30pm Regardless, if the pet is OK, off leash, I still walk everyone on a leash. I do not except non-neutered with non-spayed pets. Medication administration is no problem

Jessica has been wonderful with Ally! I really appreciate how she tailors each walk to whatever Ally is feeling that day, sometimes that’s a nice brisk walk, and other times it’s taking her time and stopping to search the trees for squirrels. Jessica is reliable, thoughtful, and always goes above and beyond. It’s such a relief knowing that while I’m at work, Ally is getting plenty of attention and is in such good hands. Ally absolutely loves her, which says it all!

  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
