Dog Walking Albany

About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 4 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

About: I’ve taken care of many pets in my life as I used to live on a farm growing up. I treat them all as if they’re my kids. I have a part time job as a nurse at a nursing home and I have two children in the home but over the ages of 15, other than that I have no young kids or other pets. I have a fenced yard with plenty of room to play! As well I have a park 2 mins from my home that I can take any pet I’m caring for.

About: I’ve had my own animals, both cats and dogs (mainly cats) since I was 6 years old. I’ve had to administer insulin before to my diabetic cat that has since passed. My experience with dogs are mainly of the bigger size (I had a pitbull/boxer mix and a pure bred chow chow). I’m currently working as a Direct Support Professional overnights 9pm-9am Thursday through Saturday (technically Sunday 9am). So I’m pretty open for picking up last minute gigs if needed. I would love to have a break down of your pets day to day. Typically when they are most ready to play or eat. When potty breaks need to be done around.

About: Hello everyone, I am Victoria! I’ve been caring for animals since childhood as I grew up on a decent amount of acreage with a constant rotation of three German shepherds, cats, parrots, small animals, and chickens; all of my dogs have passed and I’ve gotten high marks in their training sessions, so if you're working on something important with your dog; let me know! I am also versed in caring for other critters as well, no matter the species, and can administer medicine or a special diet for your pet. I look forward to working with you! Time management is my best friend and my energy level has made for very easy scheduling of my pets needs. Playtime is just as important as potty time and I will ensure that your pet gets both! My eyes will always be on your loved ones. As a multiple animal owner, I have had cats with strict diets, high energy dogs, and also puppies that tried relentlessly to get into things; all of which were avoided by giving love and praise, paying close attention to their environment, and setting them up for success. I have a keen eye for detail and I would never let anything happen to your animals (I would treat them as my own & protect them of course)!

About: I have 10+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. It was a huge responsibility, but I looked forward to going to work each shift I had because to me it didn’t even feel like work, it felt like a reward getting to care and play with so many animals. Whenever I go anywhere whether it’s a walk around my college campus, a family or friends house, or the park, I am always immediately drawn to all the dogs I see and always ask if I can take a minute to pet each dog. A multitude of family and friends have consistently told me that it’s evident how much I love animals, and how well I get along with them. I am someone you can trust to make sure your pet gets the best possible care when you are gone. As a former cat owner and current dog owner myself, I know just how much love and care pets need on a day to day basis. Whenever I am away from my dog who is my bestfriend in the whole world, I definitely can feel anxious or stressed. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). I will always be available and reachable when I am with your pet to answer any questions, concerns, or even just send over some extra photos if you are really missing your furry companion! Additionally, your pets wellbeing and safety is my top priority. I have worked hard to familiarize myself with signs of distress and discomfort in animals, and if anything doesn’t look right I will not hesitate to jump into action to make sure your pet is safe. My dog has had a few scary incidents, and as difficult as it was, it helped to prepare me to know the signs when something is not right and know what to do in case of an emergency. I decided to join rover because I wanted the opportunity to help take care and hangout with animals on a regular basis because it is truly something I absolutely love. I am hard working, enthusiastic, dedicated, and I will care for your pet as if it is my own. About: I’m a good dog walker and can play with them and feed them too. I’ll make sure they are treated right and feel safe around me. I’m around and free whenever possible to take care for pets for friends and family if they need it. I treat them as family and make sure they have fun too I will make sure they are on a leash when we go for walks outside of the house. Won’t leave doors open and make sure to car them if needed too.

About: I grew up around dogs, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve helped take care of my friends’ dogs, including Pip, whom I’ve watched since he was a puppy, and Martha, a more senior dog. About: I've been taking care of a wide variety of animals for a long time. I have experience in all around basic boarding care for dogs, cats, and various reptiles and small animals; dog training basic obedience, fear or frustration aggression/reactivity, high drive dogs, and anxiety behaviors. About: I have experience dealing with a high-energy English Springer Spaniel since she was a puppy! I helped train her in basic commands using positive reinforcement and have walked her regularly for 7 years. As of right now I’m currently a junior at SUNY Geneseo and will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays 9-3 and during the weekend 9-5. Your dogs safety is my top priority. I will make sure to learn the commands they respond to and their personality. Earning their trust is extremely important to me so they feel comfortable and safe in my care.

About: I will pay full attention to your pet. I am flexible and I can work with you to tend to your pet's every need. I am often the go-to call when my friends or neighbors plan to go away. I will love your furry family member like they are my own. The great bonus for me is the love I get in return from your pet and hopefully provide peace of mind to the owners. I have one 19-year-old grumpy kitty who I love dearly, who will happily hide in my bedroom – and ever so briefly – coexist with my doggie guests. All good there. I'm available any day for a drop in visit or daycare in my home. Prices are for a time frame up to 6 hours and may vary with longer periods. I will love and protect your pet like they are my own. If I were to visit your/their home, I would enter and provide excellent service with respect to you and your pets!

About: I have one senior pit mix who I currently take care of, and I have also pet sat for both dogs and cats for family/friends. I have lots of flexibility to take care of different animals. While I am at school and my schedule varies depending on the day, I am available most times of the day. Just communicate with me and I’m sure we’ll be able to work something out! I will meet with your dog for one-on-one playtime with toys and lots of cuddles. At least one or more walks with plenty of potty breaks and feeding if needed. I try my best to cater to the individual needs of your animal.
