About: For a year, I walked my neighbor's Cavalier King Charles spaniel while she was recovering from a hip injury, until she could walk better. She and her daughter greatly appreciated my help and have said to me that their dog Cooper has been so much happier ever since he met me. I am a college student that goes to school 5 days a week from 7am to 4 pm. I can do early morning walks before 7am since I am a morning person, and I can do walks or come over after class. I am free on most weekends. I am free most of the time in the summer from June to August. I cannot bring pets into my home since I have two cats that are not very pet-friendly. But I can do all the care you need me to do at your house.

About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week - even if I have the day blocked off I can often still do an evening visit, feel free to message me and ask. When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.

About: I learn quick to give your pet the best experience away from you. I’m responsible and great with pets because I take care of my pets at home. My neighbor and friends trust me to take care of their pets no matter the condition their pets are in. I am free on weekends and can do drop-ins and walks in the evenings. I’ll be able to work all federal holidays as well. I can crate your dog if needed. I can play/pet them as much as they desire. I am able to follow strict instructions for your pet’s food or medicine.

About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

About: I’ve done overnight and day visits with dogs and cats for years and do multiple days during the week now for a family member. I work well with large and small dogs. I am available all days of the week and have a very flexible class schedule so can easily fit in a visit with your pup! I am available for overnights every night as well! I have babysat for people who have both fenced and non fenced yards so I can easily work with leash using dogs. I myself have much experience with stubborn and large dogs on leashes so can handle tough pups!

My family recently got two puppies, Simba and Xena, that I’ve helped take care of when the rest of the house is away. About: I have 10+ years of experience with walking dogs, and years of experience in feeding, training, playing, and caring for both dogs and cats. My entire life I have always been drawn to animals, and am a huge animal lover! In my early teen years, I worked at a dog daycare where I oversaw the care of up to 14 dogs at one time. It was a huge responsibility, but I looked forward to going to work each shift I had because to me it didn’t even feel like work, it felt like a reward getting to care and play with so many animals. Whenever I go anywhere whether it’s a walk around my college campus, a family or friends house, or the park, I am always immediately drawn to all the dogs I see and always ask if I can take a minute to pet each dog. A multitude of family and friends have consistently told me that it’s evident how much I love animals, and how well I get along with them. As a former cat owner and current dog owner myself, I know just how much love and care pets need on a day to day basis. Whenever I am away from my dog who is my bestfriend in the whole world, I definitely can feel anxious or stressed. I am dedicated to keeping pet parents up to date on the wellbeing of your pets with photos, videos, up to date messages and anything else you’d like as a pet parent (I am happy to do facetime calls too!!). About: Hey, Rover friends! My name is Alex (he/they) and I absolutely love dogs. Growing up with an 85-pound yellow lab, I fell in love with these gentle giants as a kid, and volunteered at the local animal shelter during high school. I have experience with various types of training, including crate training, teaching loose-leash walking, and doing socialization work in public places. Over the past four years, I have sat for dozens of clients, both through Rover and for family and friends. I also serve as a regular dog walker for several others. I have experience with a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. From rescue mutts to the stigmatized Bully breeds, family dogs, and herding dogs, I believe that each dog has a unique personality and can thrive given the right circumstances! In the next couple of years, I hope to adopt a rescue dog myself, but right now, Rover gives me the chance to be around lots of different animals despite my busy lifestyle. I am a PhD candidate, and I work from home a good portion of the week. When I teach, I am typically gone for 4 hours at the most, so I am able to check in on dogs frequently. I am also a very active person and enjoy strolls through the park, long hikes, or easy tempo runs on local cross-country trails. For doggy daycare and boarding, I have a comfy crate that is adjustable to your pup's size, and for their safety, I typically crate them if I leave the house until we have built a relationship. I have a small fenced-in backyard which is perfect for potty breaks, fetch, and short training sessions. I live close to Washington Park, and frequently take pups on the loop around the lake. I also enjoy taking day trips to the Adirondacks and Catskills for hiking :)

About: Seventeen years of feeding and caring for pets from bunnies to dogs, cats, cows, pigs, and chickens. Have taken care of a variety of breeds, behaviors, and ages. I am available many of hours of the day during the week and weekend. I will not accept a job that I cannot reasonably provide care for the pet. I take advantage of animals’ unique physiological systems (i.e. smell, slow movements) to gain trust. I like to stick to pets’ household routines. If there are specific instructions for going outside, I would like to know ahead of time.

About: I love animals and always want to be around them. I live alone at home and have 1 dog who gets along with other dogs. I grew up with 2 dogs and am very familiar with taking care of them. I also grew up with cats and love cats. I have been taking care of my friends’ dogs - one was a 17 year old dog with medications. So i am familiar with giving animals medicines. I just lost my beloved beagle 2 months ago age 16 and miss her! I can have pets stay over my place or I can stay over their places. Basically, I love all animals and will make sure they have fun and stay comfortable! I work part-time and am home most of time during the weekday. I work Mondays and some Wednesdays from 3:30-6pm and Tuesdays from 11:30am-4pm and am free on Fridays. One side of my home has fence. I live near beach and bike trail and Ethan Allen park. Plenty of places to take dogs out for walk.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, I’ve owned multiple dogs & cats that are sadly no longer with me. I love the joy going for a run or walk can bring them. Bathing your furry friend is never an issue. I do have a cat named Zelda who loves animals but she’s the only one I have now. Offering boarding services for holiday times coming up! I work part time and go to school full time as well as being a mother to my daughter. We can always talk about what works best for us both & your furry friend(s). I do have an open backyard but I do have extra long tie outs so they will be able to run. I have no problem taking them to a local dog park or a walk around the neighborhood. If you’re going on vacation & your furry friend can’t come, we can easily discuss what works best for scheduling.

I have experience in all around basic boarding care for dogs, cats, and various reptiles and small animals; dog training basic obedience, fear or frustration aggression/reactivity, high drive dogs, and anxiety behaviors.
