This was Emma’s first time spending the night with a non-relative and did experience separation anxiety. Catherine was very patient with her and tried different ways to make her feel more comfortable. She took her for a long walk and refocused her energy using a kong filled with treats I provided. She made me aware of her anxiety after she was calm and sent me pictures to assure me she was okay. She also told me not to worry. Emma also had a hard time at bed time but eventually fell asleep on the couch. Emma did better the next day as she was feeling loved!”
