My home is active and structured, with plenty of playtime, exercise, and enrichment. I currently share my home with Border Collies, Labradors, and a few mixed breeds, and we’re active in dog sports like frisbee, obedience, and dock diving. Whether your dog is social or needs their own space, I can accommodate them — as long as they are people-friendly. Our Maggie met this Maggie as a trainer when we first adopted her, so we were confident that our dogs would be in good hands for the week. Our other dog Onyx is new to us, and can take time to warm up. We were so glad to see photos of him enjoying himself during their stay. Drop-off and pick-up were smooth. We would definitely board our dogs with Maggie again.
Maggie was absolutely wonderful with my high energy dog. I have a hard time finding a trustworthy sitter as my pup is a little more high maintenance and I believe that Maggie was a perfect fit.
Maggie made our dog who is nervous in new situations feel very at home in her care. She kept me updated on how he was doing throughout his stay. Maggie definitely a dog lover 🐾🐕

Schedule
We keep a very rigid structured routine. Our day starts between 6-7am, with initial let outs--group play if appropriate to get that morning energy out. Then we settle in for breakfast time, all dogs rest 30 minutes prior to meals, 30 minutes to eat, then followed by another 30-60 minutes to digest. This helps prevent bloat( while any size dog CAN bloat--most often occurs in larger/deep chested breeds, but I take no chances). We then are in and out throughout the rest of the day when dinner time commences between 5-6pm, repeating the same 30-30-30/60 routine. Last let outs and romps wrapping up around 10-11pm. I don't operate a free for all.

Safety, trust & environment
Fully fenced in yard. Specifically zoned areas for potting and play. Daily house keeping services including vacuuming and daily crate wipe down and disinfection. Dogs are outside as much as we can be, under direct supervision weather permitting.
A typical day
We can hike, play fetch, a little tug. Also have several enrichment puzzle, games and lickmats to keep them mentally sharp and stimulated. If your dog has a favorite activity please let me know!
