About: Friends and family members have trusted me to care for their furry loved ones for as long as I can remember. Our furry friends deserve just as much love and care as we do. I work from home three days out of the week, so I am able to care for pets during the day. I am also incredibly available throughout the weekends and each weeknight. I maintain a consistent daily routine for feeding, potty breaks, and playtime to keep pets feeling secure and comfortable. I keep clients updated with photos and updates on their pets' well-being, so they can feel confident that their furry friend is in good hands. I create a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space for pets to roam, play, and relax. I ensure all areas are pet-proofed and free from hazards. Pets receive lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles. I offer enrichment activities like toys and outdoor walks.

About: I am a huge animal lover ever since I was a child I've cared for pets from guinea pigs to horses however dogs, cats and fishes I had the most experience and absolute companionship. Throughout my life I've had over 5 dogs, 13 cats, 3 turtles and multiple fishes as well as cared for neighbor pets and children while their guardians were in need. I know how to provide pets with their medications, brush their teeth and when to give their needed walks and attention. I keep up with my health and cardio resistance to keep up the fun of helping others and doggy activities. I love to stay active. Most importantly I am happy to be reliable, careful, loving and playful with all animals. I am Full-time and try to provide flexibility as much as possible. In conjunction with moving, hospital visits, flight delays, traffic and unexpected weather conditions I completely understand and choose to prioritize your general safety. I'm currently in a 2 story apartment on the 2nd floor. With 4 bedrooms and a doggie pull out couch. I keep the spacious place very clean and safe. There are no kennels, crates or gates you would have to provide one if necessary. All animals would enjoy the homey atmosphere.

“Glen is amazing! My dog, Bruce Lee, absolutely loves them. They’re reliable, caring, and always send updates and photos. I trust them completely, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. Highly recommend!”

About: Growing up I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs for over 16 years and had full responsibility of up to 4 dogs at a time for over 10 years. Most of my experience with with dogs under 20lbs but I’m excited for the opportunity to care for bigger dogs. All of the dogs I’ve had in my life were rescued, and I have dealt with an array of behaviors from separation anxiety to traumatic fear of anything and everyone to anxiety that manifests in aggressive or destructive behavior. I know every pup is different and will need a unique approach in care. Training is something I’m experienced in whether it’s a new pup learning the ropes or just a skill you’re working on with your dog. My two favorite skills I’ve taught my dog is to dance on her hind legs, and to ring a door bell when she has to go potty outside. If you are working on any training with your pup and would like me continue your hard work - just let me know! From sit, stay, place when walking in, or a potty queue, I’m happy to work with you both to stay on course for your goals! Senior care is something I’m very experienced and passionate about. My last little guy, Jo, was around 16 years old, blind, deaf, and had multiple medical conditions with the most challenging being Collapsing Trachea. Administering most medications is something I’m very comfortable doing as my little man had between 5 and 8 medicines he took daily. I’m hyper aware of little shakes and bumps that may seem out of the ordinary due to Jo’s many needs. My knowledge and attention to detail in senior dogs will make sure every pup will get the exercise and gentle care they need while keeping them comfortable no matter the adaptions they may need. A few preventative things I pay attention to with each and every pup in my care are: - Stool: abnormal color or texture can be a sign of stomach or organ distress and can be easy to miss if you aren’t looking for it. - Urine: pet UTI’s are more common than you may think, and also can be easy to miss in early stages. Frequency and color can sometimes be a warning of UTI’s. After a vet misdiagnosed my childhood dog Gigi as being overweight instead of a UTI, she ended up in the hospital with emergency surgery as her organs were shutting down. Since then, simple daily color and frequency monitoring has helped me make sure all my other pets were healthy and comfortable. - Abnormal behavior: lethargy, difference in appetite, and trouble going to the bathroom are all things I pay attention to with each pup I’m spending time with. Increased aggression or constipation can be early signs of illness. Each visit will have have feedback on these specific items along with general notes to make sure you know exactly how our walk or visit went! These notes can also be helpful in finding patterns of behavioral or medical attention that may be needed on top of peace of mind while you’re away. Working from home with flexible hours helps to make me available at almost any time during the week. Making sure pets have daily exercises, mentally stimulating toys and treats, and snuggles daily are top priority. Caring for fur baby’s in your home will be completely adaptable to your their current routine - do they have a specific routine to be followed? Do they only like going in the backyard? Do they need a minimum walk of 20 minutes? Their routine or need is my command. Shoes off in the house, filtered water only in their bowls, rinse and wash the bowls before refilling, nothing is too much for your pet’s comfort and safety.

About: I have had dogs since the day I was born and wouldn't want it any other way! Family and friends have relied on me to care for their pets for years, and they have been confident in my abilities as a former employee at a 24-hour emergency animal hospital. I'm experienced working with a variety of breeds and temperaments, including reactive dogs with behavioral challenges. I am well versed in force-free positive reinforcement methods. Professionally I work as an epidemiologist, so you can also be sure I am taking all health and safety precautions! I am also available most afternoons/evenings and on weekends. I can drop in for walks and to spend time with pups in your home during these times too! I do everything I can to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free! Being the owner of a reactive dog I understand how important it is to mantain a schedule, enforce training, and take safety precautions. I have a firm understanding of animal body language and knowledge of how to behave around dogs of all temperaments!

“Amanda was great! She was on time and made sure to update me on my pup. Amanda was easy to work with and helped me out last minute ! Will definitely be booking her again in future (:”

Olesia is doing her MFA study, and adore long walks in parks. Serhii is free most of the week, and his schedule is flexible. We live in the one bedroom appartment with a lot of space, and our pan backyard. The pet will have their own dog bed and be safe in our house.

“Very communicative and helpful!”

“Kathryn took such good care of my dog! He loved her right away when he met her. My dog looks so happy in the photos she sent, we’ll be coming back to her in the future :)”

About: I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all. I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet. I ensure that your pet is healthy, happy and comfortable. I let them become used to me and work around them. This is their space a they should feel safe there.

About: I have taken car of animals and kids my whole life. As the eldest daughter of a disabled retired EMS dad, I was needed around the house to help take car of my younger siblings, our cats and dogs. Juggling my own life and taking care of theirs I've developed crucial skills in order to be able to care for everyone properly. I've got a lot of love to give! I am a quality assurance and Human Resources manager for a local business. my schedule is incredibly flexible and managed by myself. I am free early mornings and late afternoons into evenings pretty much daily unless I have a doctor's appointment. Taking care of pets is very similar to taking care of humans. You need to learn how to communicate with your pet, each animal has their own language, signs they give to let you know when they need to use the bathroom, when they want more space from you or some playtime. Understanding these little signals can allow you to take care of them better. As a temporary care giver you also need to respect the space you are in and the routines that these animals already have in place. Their owners know their animals best and it is always best to follow the instructions you were given.

About: I love making pets happy and would be more than glad to be there for your pet while you can’t be. I have trained 2 dogs in my life and have a very well behaved fur baby of my own who is 11 months old. I am currently a part time manager at crossgates mall. I go to the University at Albany and am in between semesters. I have always had a soft spot for pets and figured this was a good way to spend my free time! I will follow whatever instructions you leave I can not bring dogs into my apartment but am more than happy to drive to you when needed. I am willing to play until they get tired and will always make sure meal time is on time.
