Taking care of two dogs can be a lot, but Jessica handled everything so well and made the whole process stress-free for us She kept us updated regularly with pictures and messages, and it was clear the dogs were getting tons of love, attention, and care every single day. One of our dogs is usually cautious around new people and was completely adamant about not warming up to anyone at first but by mid week, they had become best buddies. About: I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds. I have a deep respect for all animals, including those that are shy or have special needs, and I'm committed to giving every animal the care they deserve. I'm available on most weekends and holidays. During the week I work full time, but I have a flexible schedule and occasionally I do have weekdays available, as well as most Fridays in June and July. I can also do late afternoon or evening drop ins during the week, but unfortunately Rover does not provide a way to block out specific times so most weekdays show up as unavailable - just message me and I'll let you know my schedule! When introducing myself I allow the animal to approach me first, I take things slow if they're shy or nervous. I'm familiar with dog and cat body language so I can recognize signs of stress. When walking dogs I'm always aware of my surroundings and will adjust the route if I need to.
About: I am an occupational therapy graduate student and an animal lover. I do not have a fur baby of my own at the moment due to my moving around, but whenever family or friends need someone to watch their pet, I am always the one they ask! For the summer, I am taking online courses with asynchronous work allowing for a flexible schedule. I work a respite care job on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; other than that, I am free. It is important to keep your pets as comfortable as possible. I am attentive to any special instructions regarding medication or diet. As an OT student, I have a lot of experience in caregiving and am patient. I also provide updates and photos to owners, so they know what their pets are up to!

I left my dog Fiona in Sophie’s care for three full days, but I came home to a happy and calm dog. This is because Sophie provided care, attention, and fun.
