I work a standard 9-5. That being said I work from home every other week, so depending on the week I can spend much more time in the home and provide more supervision. I love to be active so making time for walks and outside time will always be a priority. With weekends off I can spend those full days with your precious pet.

Information Barbara D. would like to know about your pet
I always want to meet you and your pet prior to actually petsitting or walking. I want you and your pet to be comfortable in your home and with me in it. I will also be able to discuss your pets preferences and any other information I need to make this run smooth as possible. Furthermore, I do have special rates for continuous care. This includes any pets that can't be left at all or less than an hour for reasons such as age, medications and anxiety. That rate sits at 200 a day + 50 per additional pet. I can not always provide this care so please reach out prior to make sure I can accomidate your pets needs.
A typical day
I know many fun parks around Albany and the surrounding areas. I also am happy to hang out at home with more cuddly animals and play at home.

Pet care experience
I have been working in animal and the dog sitting space since 2020. I have managed a range of pets from rats all the way through dogs. I have worked with sick animals before (administering diabetes shots, cleaning wounds and stitches) and am comfortable doing that moving forward. I have worked with many dogs at a time (up to three) many times in my career. I have also worked with nervous and reactive dogs as well. Overall I really have seen it all.

Barbara was incredible at looking after my cat, Maggie. She was super communicative and Maggie was clearly so comfortable around her from the moment they met! Maggie takes medication twice a day so I was looking for someone I can trust and Barbara exceeded my expectations. She is excellent!
Barbara was great, she took such good care of my pets while I was away. My dog had a health issue that popped up and she kept me updated the whole time. 10/10!
She did such a great job with my anxious little boy who isn’t used to being home alone. We will be using her for the future for sure!
