About: We always had a family dog during my childhood. As I was raising my children, we had both dogs and cats throughout the years. I have adopted cats from shelters over the last 15 years (one being a senior cat who passed away during COVID). Over the last 8 years, I have provided live-in dog care/house sitting for my sister's dogs as she traveled to the west coast. I currently help friends and family with animal care as needed. I enjoy being outside and would love taking walks with your pets in nature. I am a retired registered nurse and have ample free time available. I currently volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House Family Room at Albany Medical Center Hospital. I also volunteer at Capital Roots in Troy. My hobbies include gardening, photography, hiking, kayaking, and musical theater. Finley is my indoor cat who loves watching all of the neighborhood activity from our porch. When my family/friends travel out of town, I stay in their home while they're away to care for the animals.

About: I really enjoy pet sitting. It is a calming activity that is healthy and keeps me occupied. I have experience taking care of dogs, puppies, cats, fish, chickens and parakeets. I have been the person that people call in short notice for me to house and pet sit. I've been available same day in emergency situations. I understand how difficult it can be when you need to be somewhere but you have to figure out a plan for your pets. I am responsible and take daily notes on your pets as I care for them. About: Dogs are a gift to the earth we will never be able to fully appreciate or understand, the protection and kindness and beauty of their soul is something I truly admire. My roommate in college and longtime best friend has a “Canine Training and Management” degree and I have learned extensive tricks and tools from her to help with any disciplinary issues you may have. Dogs just need to be understood and most of the time we just aren’t listening! I have two cats, who are my world. When I’m not working I’m spending most of my time playing with them, cleaning up after them, and making them happy! I would treat your animals as if they were my own, with the level of protection and care that I would protect my own babies with.
